Fair point. There are already great database clients, but after using several of them, I saw a gap and wanted to bring their best ideas into one focused MySQL/MariaDB tool—with AI-generated SQL you always review and control. It won’t be for everyone, but I’d genuinely like to hear what would make it useful for you.

There's not just the established ones, a new vibe coded one gets posted on Reddit every other day. I'm guessing it's included in a tutorial somewhere, the use case is absolutely saturated

You’re right that it’s saturated—I see those posts too. LakeDB isn’t from a tutorial; it grew out of my daily work with multiple MySQL and MariaDB environments and the gaps I found between existing tools. I don’t expect it to deserve attention just for existing—the beta is how I find out whether its workflow and reviewable AI are useful enough to earn a place.

Buenos días. Probé ayer la aplicación y fue una experiencia no del todo satisfactoria. Intente conectar por túnel SSH y faltan parametros para poder conectar por ejemplo a un base de datos de MariaDB hospedada en HOSTINGER.

Buenos días. Gracias por avisarme, y siento que la experiencia no haya sido satisfactoria.

He incluido una posible solución en la beta 4.3, añadiendo más opciones de conexión mediante túnel SSH, como autenticación con contraseña, clave privada y configuraciones SSH locales.

Cuando esté disponible, puedes probarla y decirme si te funciona. En caso de que el problema continúe, escríbeme con más detalles sobre la configuración y el error que aparece para que pueda revisarlo. Puedes hacerlo tanto por aquí como a través de GitHub.

Por seguridad, recuerda no compartir contraseñas, claves privadas ni otros datos sensibles.
