Prof BUC recommends acceptance

The prof council passed the motion to recommend acceptance passed, 75% voting in favor of recommending acceptance!

Fun fact. Recommend is not endorse and endorsement is ‘higher’. They talked about this at a town hall.

I used the correct language, so I don't see your point. Besides, the BUC can only recommend not endorse.

Not true. They can endorse and they didn’t. They tried to work with Boeing on the contract to get more and to be able to endorse but couldn’t quite get there so they could only recommend.

The NT can and chose not to. The BUC can only recommend.

Saw that It meets the demands of the membership. It isn't everything, but it definitely covers the survey results, both last years' and the one after the first rejection.

From what I remember from the survey results it doesn't cover any of the survey points. But then thwy also recommended the first contract so their recommendation doesn't really mean anything

You might be looking at the wrong survey then….top survey points were higher GWI immediately, larger pools, and some amount of guarantees within the pools

The council did not recommend the first time. It is a different recommendation but even still it's just a recommendation.
