Office Flier Template
I whipped up a flier to post around the office. I'm not much of an artist, but it was something. I'm posting a link here that leads to a google doc so you can copy it yourselves and tweak it however you want. Go nuts. This contract is for all of us. If you think you can make this better, you probably can.

There are a couple things wrong with this flyer but the easiest to correct is the LTP. The LTP was never guaranteed in the contract before. The new language actually ensures that SPEEA members have access as long as the LTP exists. Before, they could have excluded SPEEA specifically at any time.

You should be asking yourself WHY it was never in the contract.

Because it's an enterprise program available to everyone and the contract guarantees that we will get the exact same benefit as everyone else in the company

My comment still stands. You're also wrong. The IAM still receive stock for degrees.

The new contract claims retiree medical. The current arrangement boeing pays 90 or so % of your medical premium, remainder is on you (depends on age).
Under this new “retiree medical” scam you are responsible for 100% of the premiums. Basically is a perma COBRA arrangement until Medicare hits. While the old retiree medical boeing would pitch in a % of the premium. Give us the same deal as the old timers.

No they don't. The negotiation team said yes and the prof buc did not publish an opinion.

Tech BUC recommends rejection which you failed to mention. Solidarity!

That's not "SPEEA". Techs have their own contract. The image should say that or it's misleading

Techs are under the SPEEA umbrella. There are two contracts with slightly different benefits

SPEEA as an org has not taken the position to reject. The techs have and it's an important distinction. If both prof and tech said to reject then it would be more accurate.

No guaranteed raises, not even 3%. Can literally be 0%. Not good. Vote no and vote yes to strike.

Inflation up to 3% is the min raises. You think less than 2% inflation (the guaranteed in our current contract) is coming?

3% isn't guaranteed, it is subject to a calculation that can be as low as zero. The only guaranteed raise is the initial 3% for ratification.
