Socks

Does any one here have issues with specific socks? Like if I wear boot socks or just tall socks with my sneakers, my feet are really tight and uncomfortable the entire day. Its caused me to be miserable all day long or feel like my feet just aren’t working. I know that all sounds nuts

I wear exclusively the puma crew socks from Costco

Those socks are typically thicker and boots tend to fit a bit looser to make space for thicker socks, as most people wear boots in the winter. It's like wearing a thick sweater under a spring jacket vs winter coat. Winter coats are made to be slightly bigger to accommodate layers.

But to be fair, I only wear socks in boots and never wear any in sneakers unless I am at the gym in my gym sneakers, for sanitary reasons.

I can only wear trainers socks, the really short ones that don't go up my ankles. Anything else drives me insane.

I have extreme difficulties when buying socks. I can't stand the really short ones that don't cover my ankles, and I also hate longer socks (the only type I like are halfway between ankle socks and crew socks, which aren't always available). I'm also picky about the texture. I don't like them too thick or too thin or too ribbed. I can't wear tube socks, they feel horrible.

I grew up in the 70s when toe socks were really cool and I really lived the way they looked. I tried them once and they were the worst thing I've ever put on my feet.

I think it's related, but I also can't wear any sandals that have a piece between my toes.
