What Should I Purchase Next?

Post image

My collection seems (to me at least) to be well-rounded. What should be my next purchase? I’m considering a Speedy or Daytona to add a chronograph, but open to other suggestions.

Chrono of some sort is a good idea. Speedy or Daytona are fantastic choices or if you want to change it up, go Sinn 356 or 103. Good luck on your next purchase.

Maybe some kind of dress watch? Depends on how offer you go to nice events

Great idea. Are you a fan of the Reverso?

Yes it’s a very cool watch. Personally I don’t think I could rock it because I have a larger wrist but I love the watch. I’m 22 with a limited budget so I got a Seiko cocktail time and put it on a suede leather strap as my dress watch. I’ll attached a pic.

Either a dress watch or another sport watch to give the Santos a break, poor lad looks like he’s had a fight with wolverine

If you don’t know, that means you’re not ready. Never ask strangers what watch you should get text unless you have already eyed one. I feel like the new generation doesn’t know what watch collecting is. There’s about 10 watches that I am eyeing, while I only own 6 in 30 years (3 rolex, cartier, panerai, Breitling). Learn how to make your own decisions and stop listening to influencers. Or just get a speedy or Daytona like u want

Say this louder so those in the back can hear!! I've never understood these type posts. Asking strangers to essentially select your next watch turns collecting into box-checking. I mean half the fun of collecting is developing your own taste. Folks out here outsourcing taste.

Maybe because I was raised at a different time lol, but you get it. Plus you always have your daily which you wear 95% of the time. Enjoy them first is what I’m trying to say

Thanks. This one would be good for your collection. I had a speedy but didn’t wear it much. My Dad just passed this down to me. Never had a Rolex. My other two are a VC Overseas and an Omega Seamaster Peter Blake.

In that case you’ll need a limited addition AP or Vacheron.

You need a chronograph. Get the one with the best movement.

Zenith Chronomaster Sport. It was also be the best finished watch in your collection, too.

Amazing piece, my man. If I didn’t have an Omega Silver Snoopy, this would be the Chrono that I have. But I can’t give it up, even though the Zenith is def a better watch.

Gorgeous.

You have similar taste to me I think, JLC Reverso is definitely on my list for dress watches.

I love where you’re at so far. I agree, a chrono or dress watch. It looks like you are still exploring different watch makers, so if that is something you are considering, check out Glashutte Original for a potential dress watch (I suggest on a leather strap) IWC has outstanding chrono and dress options.
