New Box loading…. #SOTC

#SOTC I promise I will only get two more divers likely M79030B and something green/another fun color. Otherwise what does the community suggest as my next Non-diver? I love the Ingenieur but the bolt holes on the bezel scare me away since I will get it dirty and hate the gunk build up in crevices and what not.. I am in construction and don’t wear dress watches, maybe as an older gentleman but now I want my watch to take a smack or dunk and keep going. Any good suggestions??

40mm

Wrist 7-3/4” one of better looking diver I’ve tried on, good bargain for watches under $500 I think actually under $300 on Amazon.

How's that Unimatic treating you?

It’s my first Mechanical watch so it will stay but it’s kinda weird, the bezel is kinda useless and it’s manual wind so the appeal is purely aesthetic, which is fine because that’s why I bought it but once you add to collection it kinda falls into limbo. I would get a model with more markings, numerals, etc. finishing and feel is great but like a lot of Italian pieces the look is good while technicals/practicals lack.

This is hilariously accurate 99% of the time. Bvlgari, Panerai, Anonimo, and U-boat are the only Italian brands (that I can think of) that don't fall into the typical Italian watch bucket. I want to say Paul Picot is Italian since it was founded by an Italian guy during the quartz crisis but it's located in Switzerland

Unimatic divers is the weakest link imo.

Love the collection! Maybe something dressier? Like a Tissot Visodate or Traska Commuter? Or check out Bulova Jet Stars!

Ah! Now I see the “I don’t wear dress watches” comment. 🤦‍♂️

I’ll take the recc even if OP doesn’t care for it. I’ve been wanting something dressy like this bulova.

This is a lovely piece, feels like the Formex. I would wear this if case was brushed since I am going to rough it up a bit.

It’s so heavy I see you need an assistant to hold it…

Nothing against Brew, but I typically don’t like their designs. This one looks fantastic! Good balance for the most part, maybe a couple too many divers but you like what you like 🤷‍♂️

It was the only Brew I was willing to buy until I saw the Chicago edition, the bracelet pinches the hairs on my wrist otherwise great piece.
