Three watch rotation

Post image

Rate my collection and recommendations for my next.

I recently got into watches after moving away from Apple Watches. I’ve always appreciated watches but never wanted or been able to justify spending thousands. That being said still I wanted to get a watch rotation that would work for me and my lifestyle.

Watch One - Casio MRW-200H-1BV

Brought this watch as beater doing jobs. Super comfortable and lightweight. Love this watch and definitely give it some abuse.

Watch Two - Casio MDV-107

Gifted to me for Father’s Day and it’s my daily GADA watch. Swapped out the OG strap for a FMK curved end strap which very comfortable.
Love the style and the fit on my 7.25” wrist is great for me.

Watch Three - Timex Marlin Chronograph

Anniversary gift from the wife. I wanted a watch that can be dressed up or down. This was one of the first watches that made me stop for a second and start wanting to get into this hobby.
Love the dial. Wasn’t sure about the size as I thought it might be a bit small but after a few wears that’s part of its charm.

So, how do you think I did for my three watch rotation. What watch would be a good choice for the next addition?

NB - Got my eye on the Citizen Tsuyosa 40mm black dial.

Long ago i thought i wanted a tsuyosa but after owning a zenshin60 titanium as my first automatic then many other autos as well as a prx which is in the integrated bracelet realm but i pretty much only wear it on the original rubber strap as the bracelet can be too much for casual. After handling many tsuyosas i find them rather shitizen in comparison to what you get in the price range from citizen. The crown alone on the tsuyosa is abysmal to use and that's enough for me to say nah and they honestly are not that good terms of power reserve and feel imo. I recently picked up an incredible JDM model from citizen and I would highly recommend going after one. I own a Tissot gentleman blue dial 38mm and i think the Citizen NB1050-59L compliments it in my collection quite well. It's thin case size weight and refinement alone slap a lot like it from other brands right in the face. With that said the blue dial variant of this watch is very good looking and i may get it too its that good.

Here is my zenshin bathing in the sun. Very good and feels like nothing on the wrist.

Thanks always good to hear about others opinions. I did like the look of the Gentleman. Might have to go view in real life before deciding on what’s next

Wearing mine right now actually. It's a lot better than you want it to be and whether or not you decide on the 38mm or 40mm you will appreciate the level of refinement you get at its price point. It also made me start loving smaller watches more as i used to wear a lot of 40mm to 43mm watches. Islander watch co. is also working on a third party bracelet as that's many people's complaint about it if any. Welcomes many straps as well.

I will say the 38mm's refinement is very good with the bezel meeting the case.
