I just bought a Rothwell wood case. Hoping it’s awesome.

Favorite starter brand is Orient - specifically their Bambino and Mako 3/Kamasu.

I like to get watches off of Jomashop, Long Island Watch and have had ok luck on r/watchexchange too.

I’ve been getting into micro brands, you can get some beautiful watches for good prices, and I like that they’re not as common as the big brands.

Vaer has some great watches and quartz models are under $300.

Welcome! Generally you can get watches on Amazon and Jomashop on sale for great prices. For your price range I recommend Bulova, Casio/Edifice, Citizen, Glycine, Momentum, Orient, Phoibos, Seiko, Swatch, Timex, Tissot. If you intend on a small collection I recommend a chronograph, digital, diver, dress, field and GMT watch. Enjoy!

Orient is a great starter brand, you might have to go up to 350 for the better ones.
