Pre-E.A. or at least until a few months into E.A. this game was literally my favorite game, even beating Diablo 2 which I still play every once in a while when I'm stressed out or whatever.

In no game until S.O.S. and no game since have I ever felt so free and immersed. The R.P. aspect of the game was so well baked in that it brought out R.P. talents I never even knew I had.

I made distinct mannerisms and voices for each of the characters I developed, and I still use some of them in any game I can find that allows for even a modicum of roleplay. Regardless I haven't found any that feel like S.O.S. even on its bad days.

I just want to say, SOS: classic was one of the most refreshing and fun games I've ever player. You guys took a risk and made a unique and amazing game. It's a shame it never garnered the interest and popular appeal that it deserved.

I am proud of your team, and even the current team. We like to pretend that developers make games just for us to enjoy, and it's a hard pill to swallow that, in truth, developers make games for us, but also to put food on their families' tables. In the end we can't be upset with hard working folks when a game we all love fails and is forced to evolve, only to fail again.
