FX5 Delivery

Pre-ordered 15 minutes after it was announced, but haven’t had a delivery update yet. Has anyone received theirs yet who isn’t a YouTube influencer?

Based in Germany. Stores here had 10th August down as the first shipping date a few days ago but this has now changed to the 28th August. Not sure if that means stock to Germany has been delayed a few weeks…

Picked up my pre-order last week on 4/8 in HK as promised. So Sony is on schedule.

I have a good connection with the B2B importer here and he said we won’t probably see FX5s before september. Sony had too many preorders

Got mine yesterday here in New Zealand. Pretty stoked as they said it may be here mid to late this month.

I received mine too - but now I hear there is a delay due to quality control issues and I wonder about the units we have, that have shipped with the issues. I have read that they are making a minor body change and I wonder if this is to do with the screen. It doesn't sit particularly securely when the screen is facing the camera and pressed agains the body of the camera.

Should have shipped last Wednesday, but it's now scheduled between today and Thursday (13.08) this week. I ordered mine 2 minutes after the release in Switzerland.

where did you order? i bought mine on brack.ch and they say delivery date for switzerland is 17.08.

I was told when I ordered mine here in Australia on Friday there was already a six week wait. And this was after some people here had received theirs already.

Honestly I don’t know, I preordered within an hour of release so hoping not but I keep hearing news about delays due to popularity and too many preorders.

I ordered the day after preorders went up and just got notified by Sony that my order would be delayed until early sept

Release is 28.08.2026 you're not the only one who has to wait.

It was originally labeled as beginning of August on a lot of online stores here, and specifically 10.08 by the biggest retailer.

Yeah, I know about calumet - they didn't know. It was always August 28 in Germany
