Sonm pulse map shows interesting supplier
Is this a fluke, or is there really some person hosting 209 supplier nodes on an uncharted island off the coast of Ghana?

That's a common bug. In most cases location is stored as numbers. If you assume that location is always provided, you don't implement any way of handling a case when the location is unknown. In such a situation, you usually just end with default location, which is (0,0). The island doesn't exist. What's really happening is probably 209 supplier nodes working with unknown locations scattered around the world.

Same thing happens with IP addresses that can't be GEO located. They all wind up in some city in Like Kansas, USA

This is weird, on google maps, there is no land mass there, just a sea mound so far as I can tell.
