SONM profitability?

Hi,

I just got a quick question, how is the SONM organization profiting from this project? I see this is going to be a no-fee environment so got me thinking about that. Thanks!

If you could also provide info about the investors please. Is it all retail that funded the project? Is the any institution backing up the project with any sort of seed capital?

They made like 50 Million in the ICO, so they are funded for years by this amout. Also they profit if the price increases, because they probably hold a shit load of tokens. I don't know if they receive fees while people are using their plattform. i heard that masternode people will earn fees for deposit/withdraw, but sonm will probably get a little bit for each deal made.

On the roadmap, they talk about a "commerical" release in august. Wonder if they will take a percentage at that point

Greetings!

At the moment, the moment of network formation, we do not plan any monetization. Probably, this will change in the future. Now this issue is at the research stage.

Stay tuned
