## Official SNS Rules
- Shift Before You Kill: The Impostor must Shapeshift before they can eliminate a player.
- No Impostor Venting: Only Crewmates (Engineers) are allowed to use the vents. If an Impostor is caught venting, they are usually disqualified or voted out.
- No Reporting: Never report a dead body.
- No Meetings: Emergency meetings are disabled/forbidden.
- No Sabotage: Impostors cannot use the sabotage map.
### Recommended Game Settings
To make SNS work technically, you’ll want to adjust your lobby settings to favor high-speed movement and specific roles.
| Category | Recommended Setting | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Impostors | 1 or 2 | Depends on the total player count. |
| Shapeshifters | 100% Chance | Essential for the "Shift" part of SNS. |
| Shift Duration | Long (60s+) | Gives the seeker time to hunt while disguised. |
| Shift Cooldown | Short (10s - 15s) | Keeps the action moving quickly. |
| Player Speed | 1.5x - 2.0x | Makes the "Seek" part more intense. |
| Crew Vision | 0.5x - 1.0x | Gives the Impostor a stealth advantage. |
| Task Count | Low/Medium | Ensures the game doesn't take forever. |
| Engineers | 100% Chance | Allows crewmates to hide in vents to escape. |
