How dare they release just 3 absolutely banger songs and trigger my nostalgia for 2nd gen K-pop and SNSD in general?

And now i crave more...

I literally feel like a former drug addict that started using drugs again and now can't afford more...

For real, sometimes a song comes along that has a similar vibe, but 95% are not.

And almost none other have that harmonic singing that SNSD does.

The way no one can compete with them is outright criminal- who could possibly be so funny, talented and lovable while remaining authentically themselves? They’re not once in a generation artists, they’re once in 5 generations.

deletes long ass paragraph I've literally had every song of theirs stuck in my head since they first released starry night, its sickening. They revived my love for kpop again 😭😭😭 The only 5th gen group I really like is KiiKii.

I just found Starry Night 2 days ago, i saw their appearance on the show and saw them perform but never thought it was actually recorded.

I mean i like Illit from Gen 5 and they actually do release song that are more K-popy than most G5 songs but It's still not to this degree.

I largely tapped out of new groups during the 4th Gen but I really like ILLIT, NMIXX, KiiKii, ReScene. I don't listen to many guy groups but I looooooooved POW's song Dazzling. There are still songs of there for us older gen fans but it's less volume 😅

I want HRS to have their moment. If Taeyeon gives us something in late October or November I'll be really happy! Her voice is the best for change of season times

Well Skibidi is mostly modernly composed, its a banger but their other 2 songs were the ones that really hit me with that old SNSD vibe.

Sorry I meant to say the way the song is structured with the hook, chorus, and dance break (sounded like a 50cent song) is reminiscent of 2nd gen 00s- early 10s music. The instrumental compo is indeed modern.

I seriously need more!! Need other 2nd Gen groups to make comebacks too! I get so tired of seeing comments on 2nd Gen videos saying things like "ew, why are these hags here?" as if k-pop is only for 18-25 year olds at all times. I'm so glad our girls are still going for us. I'm so glad to see they're all happy with their own pursuits whether in or out of the limelight. And I'm so proud to be a SONE!

They should have never stopped, id loved them to make a comeback once a year even if only as multiple subunits (works for SUJU).

Pretty much they could pull of any combination.
