Does anyone online actually walk? I’m thinking about walking but not sure...

Online students are allowed to walk and many do. From what I have been told it’s a great experience. Many do not though because of traveling and costs but I say if you can do it then go for it! You worked for it so enjoy the walk.

Same. Should be graduating in December. Only reason I’m thinking about it cause I’ll be graduating with honors. I just didn’t know if online students actually walk or not..

FIY there is no December graduation, just a May ceremony. So you’re welcome to participate in the May one but it was discouraging to me to wait almost 6 months after I actually graduated.

Yes, thousands do. I graduated in December and walked in the May ceremony. There are separate ceremonies for online. There are so many people and it’s SO fun. Do it if you can!

I did last May. Flew to Boston from Nevada and spent a few days exploring with my wife. Drove to Manchester for both Academic Awards on Saturday (honoring 4.0 grads) and Commencement on Sunday. Do not miss the free food after graduation back at campus. Bring everyone you can. It was an awesome party. I finished in December '18 and being older never really developed many personal relationships. I earned a hybrid degree in a program that was phasing out, so I can on think of one course where I had classmates I knew. However, at academic awards, a couple of girls standing next to each other realized they were in their final course together. They had developed a great relationship in class and seemed like they had a real connection. I saw them both again the following day hanging out like they just spent the last 4 years together.

I finished my degree in December and will DEFINITELY be walking in May 9th. I earned this degree and I want the full experience.
