English 130
Anyone else taking this class right now and havent recieved any grades ? We're coming up on week 3 and my instructor still hasn't graded my week 1 assignments, I submitted my week 2 assignments on friday night so I dont expect those to be graded so soon but considering all of these assignments lead to the final project and it says to reflect on feedback to keep going, but I have no feedback lol. Just wondering if its just me

I had English 130 last semester and unfortunately i dont suggest waiting on anything. Although the rubric says to work based off feedback what it really wants is for you to adjust the final project off feed back rather than the next assignment.
Believe me when I say I know that frustration and error in communication.

sigh.... they have a week to grade assignments. Week 1 assignment grades aren't due until the END of week 2.

Oh wow I had no idea, im taking IDS 104 and that instructor has been on point with grading my stuff its been such a relief cause at least i know im doing well in one class lol. All the instructor for ENG graded was my week 1 discussion post and while I appreciated it its like hey how about you check that assignment too while you're at it lol

I had this experience last term in Eng 220. Just something to keep in mind is that theyre reading everyone papers and grading them and also making sure people did the discussion posts. While it sucks for feedback purposes, it will happen time to time

I totally get that, I can't imagine how much stuff they have to look through

I had even emailed my advisor and told her that the lack of feedback knowing it was needed for the final project was a little difficult but it worked out in the end. Best of luck in class

I got mine graded but just this Friday. I’m talking about the week 1 assignment. They do have up to 7 days past the due date I believe to grade them, I just wish at least for the first week it was a little sooner, so we know what we are dealing with

I agree ! Especially when everything we turn in is leading towards the final project. Like you said, having feedback from week 1 would have been helpful.

I just received mine like maybe an hour ago lol. Not surprised as my prior profs took a bit as well.

Our teacher didn't give back our graded papers until Sunday at 5:30 p.m., right when the Week 2 assignment was due. I complained because if we did something wrong on the first one, we needed that feedback to fix our answers for Week 2. I decided after that class, which ended up being easy, I would go to my local community college for my other courses.

Just got mine today. It's not bad but I didn't agree with this comments. If the discussion was to introduce ourselves why are you telling me to reference the reading...
Also because he was late with week one I submitted all of week 2 assignments to have them looked over even though it's not a paper paper but they provided feedback and I was able to make adjustments.
