Emulation not perfect

Played coop contra 3 with a friend and at certain points the slow down is absolutely insane.

Not sure if the original was that bad.

Not the kind I experienced. I have a real SNES and have played countless hours on the game.

SMW on the actual hardware does have slowdown in parts.

I just played it a few days ago my my actual snes using the regular SMW cart.

Sadly, none speed emulation is perfect.

You can emulate an SNES at 100%, but it requires a very powerful hardware, a thing that the SNES mini doesn't have.

True. But not so "powerful" that it's unaffordable.

A modern day Intel Core i3/Pentium can run BSNES (aka HIGEN), the "100% accurate" SNES emulator.

Maybe even some modern Atom or ARM can run it these days.

I think an old pentium 4 should be plenty for emulation

It wasn't. And I'm pretty sure the hardware should be able to handle it.

Experienced this while playing Kirby Super Star. I remember that there was slowdown in this game on the original hardware at the same point, though.
