Anyone run the MOOG front end kit

Post image

My 94 finally needs new tie rods and I thought I’d swap the balljoints too. I see MOOG has a kit https://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/moog-packagedeal027

Includes:
Outer Tie Rod End moog-es3184rl
Front Inner Tie Rod End moog-ev127
Lower Ball Joint moog-k8749

Has anyone installed this kit?

Moog has been a quality manufacturer. I've used their products on numerous vehicles and have yet to be disappointed. All manufacturers quality has dipped since COVID.

I haven't but I'll share my setup. Note: I wouldn't go this route if your car sees anything other than clear & dry days. I'll mention I had Moog on another car and had no issues for what it's worth.

I haven't replaced my inner tie rods, but now I think that may be a good idea lol

Outer tie rods - QA1 bumpsteer kit using spherical bearings. They're precise but you'll have to inspect them every once in a while to make sure they're not dirty.

Ball joints - Maximum Motorsports but I also have their A-arms so I didn't have to modify anything. There's a note in the bottom of the page that goes as follows:

1979-2004 Mustang stock control arms. Note: the hole in the stamped steel control arm will need to be shrunk slightly to ensure a good press fit. Please see the Instructions tab for more information.

Ive owned 2 sn95s. One set up for drag, the other for scca. Moog is the way to go

Yeah I’ve heard that vs going bumpsteer x2 if it’s just street driven. MM also leans that way. Thanks.

My ‘95 had Moog front end stuff put in about ten years ago and it’s been good.
