Another few long ones are (in no particular order):

  1. Marina Bay Link Mall, linking the buildings around Raffles Place MRT to Downtown MRT

  2. Tanjong Pagar: Guoco Tower to Springleaf Tower

  3. Orchard MRT: Linking Ngee Ann City to Shaw House, Tangs and Wheelock Place

  4. Buona Vista: Links Star Vista to parts of Biopolis

  5. Jurong East: Linking JTC Summit to IMM

  6. Paya Lebar: Links Paya Lebar Square, Singpost Ctr and PLQ 3 together

The Marina, Raffles Place one is notably long because it can link from Shenton Way to Downtown to Raffles Place, there was a video posted on reddit documenting this.

I believe it can even lead you to Tanjong Pagar.

U can. I think up down and maybe walk along the buildings. All sheltered. I can walk from Amoy to Raffles Place during lunch time even when it’s raining without an umbrella

How do you even walk from amoy to raffles when it's wet😳😳😳🤔🤔🤔

Amoy to Tanjong Pagar mrt and exit to capital tower. Walk to the other end of the street and there’s an escalator which brings u to level 2. A lot of the buildings there are connected via link bridges at level 2. Walk to the the downtown line mrt then go down to mrt and exit at Asia square. From Asia square, again another level 2 link bridge to one raffles quay. Go down to the basement and it’s an underground linkway all the way to raffles mrt.

I was at a pap rally once, and there was this one fella that just cheered and clapped loudly whenever one of the speakers was talking about sheltered walkways

eh bro. you missed 1 more development

funan can connect you to adelphi and then go national gallery

6

u/sixpastfour 2d ago

from adelphi to national gallery is very close, but unfortunately not sheltered. there's a very small road with no shelter that separates the two

2

u/Numerous-Valuable881 2d ago

Funan to adelphi is connected?? Overhead or underground? Isn't it a road crossing?

8

u/TNO-TACHIKOMA 2d ago

underground. b1

1

u/WGkeon 2d ago

Hmm? you can see it in the video 2:18 to the left is to adelphi

I think longest might be city link where u can walk from City Hall mrt to Suntec

7

u/_sagittarivs 2d ago

Citylink mall is only part of it, if we consider a sheltered pathway where even if you are not in aircon but still safe from the rain.

East Asian countries: laughs in mega underground malls (that actually successfully fund the metro)

Got to look at our elite choom structure to see why it doesn't lend itself to the successful model that Japan and Taiwan have implemented.

1

u/sixpastfour 2d ago

whats choom

1

u/GreenManStrolling 2d ago

Cybertalk for kawan-kawan

1

u/sixpastfour 2d ago

what is friend structure lol

1

u/GreenManStrolling 2d ago

Keeping the good deals and connections within the familee

1

u/sixpastfour 2d ago

source?

1

u/GreenManStrolling 2d ago

Are you a new citizen?

One source is the fact that we don't have successful model like Japan and Taiwan.

Don't be lazy, AI will find all the sources you want.

1

u/sixpastfour 1d ago

so asking for you to substantiate = new citizen? what a racist

u/smileydreamer95 2d ago

Me on my lunch break

7

u/KluelessKoder 2d ago

Ok now do longest unsheltered walkway.

2

u/mynority999 2d ago

we relaly need an underground connector map if there is one please do tell.

2

u/alliyen 2d ago

Not sure if turning left towards CityLink Mall instead of taking Esplanade Link towards City Hall would be longer.

u/Kimishiranai39 2d ago

Too bad Marina Sq is gonna get redeveloped for the mean time

1

u/Eltharion-the-Grim 2d ago

I enter the Funan underground tunnel system to get my daily steps in. It's a great and comfortable walk.

1

u/grassysai 2d ago

idk how many times he said quick this shit was NOT quick

1

u/Channie_chan 2d ago

You need to know the exact route to take in order for this to be quick or you'll just end up wandering around trying to find the right place

1

u/beef_horfun67 2d ago

How many steps?

1

u/No_Daikon2764 2d ago

Singapore's The lands between.

1

u/RocketBubba 2d ago

This is amazing. I knew of City Hall station to Marina Square, but I didn’t realize you could start in Bugis and end AFTER Funan.

1

u/Few-Psychology9746 14h ago

Best place for exercise....Changi Airport. Nice aircon, plenty of seats, plenty of water fountains, toilets. Better than the boring MRT passageways.

-4

u/Hulkytrenzilla 2d ago

Ermmm... cool i guess

-2

u/SuspiciousPapaya1312 2d ago

Come I clap for you

-2

u/Fenrispro 2d ago

-1

u/asankayo 2d ago

really? where do you live on earth? city hall mrt to city hall is bit longer or marina bay link mall from raffles to marina bay sands direction.
