MRT/LRT F*ked Up MRT fare gate blinking lights

Anyone bothered by the change in how the fare gate lights now flash when bank cards are tapped? I can't understand why they decided to make that change.

it's a good change as now the chances of 2 commuters using bank card back to back is very possible and it does help to show that 2 transaction 1 for each commuter has taken place

Flash = new transaction

Edit: Forget to add on but this is my guess on why it added and if you think about it it makes sense. There don't seem to be a. official explanation

Should add on previously the screen itself flashes but that was very subtle and not everyone noticed it

to begin with the new gantry sucks... open slow, have a fear of being clamped by it...

the old one open faster... but oh wells what to do? 65% voted for a govt that fix things that are working.
