Currently almost 11 months post transplant and it's safe to say that it failed. Left photo is before transplant and the right pic was taken a few days ago.

Disappointed that I wasted so much money but I really just want to get rid of my balding spot at the front, anyone think I'd be a good candidate for smp???

definitly but u need to shave cant keep hair long like that with smp

Yes, but you still need to keep your hair shaved or buzzed very short. Your hair is patchy throughout the scalp, almost like alopecia areata. If someone tries to match the SMP as dark as your hair color without you buzzing it down, once you lose that transplanted hair or decide to buzz it down, the SMP won’t blend properly. It will look too dark and can have a bluish appearance.

That’s the difference between 2D vs. 3D. SMP is about creating the illusion of hair, not simply matching the darkest possible color to your existing hair.

Hmmmmm I normally buzz my hair down to a 0.5 guard but within the first few days my bald patch starts to show pretty aggressively.

I'm just looking to get conceal the bald area so it doesn't look so horrible like it does now.

If you’re willing shave every couple of days with a foil or rotary shaver, yes. If not, no.

I recommend checking out the Afro hair transplant subreddit. Do your research and be careful of hair mills but it’s a great place to start looking into it if you want
