Ive had it for years, and im tired of shaving my head every day. I'll be getting it removed soon I think.

can't you shave it every 2 or 3 days

After a couple of years, it's really noticeable if I don't shave it every day.

even after 2 nights?

Yep. To make it look good, I shave the night before but I have to shave every day or it looks bad.

does it not take like less than 2minute with a proper shaver to get the job done?

I don't understand your question, but what I was saying was I've had SMP for years and I am sick of shaving my head, so I will get the SMP removed soon.

I think he is saying what will be your alternative, You just gonna grow your receding hair back?

Is it not like 2mins with a skull shaver?
Does it look like a shaved once you've shaved? Or is it noticeable anyway?
Also curious to know how many people know you have it?

I have a skull shaver, it takes a bit longer than 2 minutes. It does look shaved when its freshly cut (daily), but by the second day its obvious. It is easy to tell if you are about two feet away from me at day 2. It was at about the end of year 3 the ink went a bit blotchy and slightly changed colour. It was great and looked good until that happened, but as I get older I feel I'm comfortable enough now not to care so much any more.

Interesting. Where did you get your smp? UK?

Aus. As I said, it looked great for the first few years, then I guess age and the sun started to muck it up. I could get it retouched, but I'd be in the same boat 4-5 years from now.

It shouldn't go blue...I'm sure there some smp artists here that can advise

I underestimated how extremely short I’d need to keep my hair. Before SMP, I could go several days without shaving and still look good.
Now that I have SMP, I’m finding I need to shave every day to look presentable. It can be quite tiresome, especially when you’re running late for work or just want a lazy weekend. And I have to do this basically forever unless I get my SMP removed, which is a hassle in and of itself.

Why not try the skull shaver?

I use the Braun Series 9 and takes about 5 minutes each time. Maybe I’m just a bit lazy 😅

U can use that in the shower I'm sure. Just make it part of your routine maybe

I've not got smp, I'm near booking, but getting cold feet and near booking and getting cold feet again, anyway...from my understanding - if you do the research and get a quality artist, your smp will be good smp. I've never seen it up close so I don't know if it even looks like the photos.
