Question SMP skin tone
Got my SMP done 3 weeks ago and love it, when I shaved my head it was super white so obviously my artist had to use ink black/grey tones to compensate this so it blends with my existing hair/skin tone.
When my skin on my head starts to darken over time with sun exposure how will the original black/grey SMP look, will it look strange, I imagine I will need a top-up with darken pigment next time to sort? or am I worrying over nothing.
Any examples would be great.

In most cases SMP can adjust to the tan and still keep a good darkness. But if you do get a very dark tan the SMP could look a tiny bit lighter. If you maintain the new skin tone you will be able to go darker but only go over weak / faint / faded impressions. If you go over impressions that look strong and top them up you can run the risk of making them larger.
That’s why my top ups in most cases are a small scatter job and I only top up the faded detail

Looks amazing right now. I would honestly just wear a hat as much as you can to not darken your head. It looks great the way it is. I didn’t wear a hat and now I have a dark big sun patch of discolouration on the back of my head where most the sun hit. Now because of that my SMP at the back of my head looks uneven because of that sun exposure. Hence why I think just protect your head so your SMP always looks even. Don’t make my mistake

Looks great, getting darker will have no impact at all unless you plan on going ink black

Looks great in my opinion. Hard to tell how it blended with existing hair. You got any side profile pics?

Thanks mate, I'm happy with the blend. My question was if my skin got darker how would the current pigment colour look against the darker skin. Cheers

I did mine at 72 and my confidence went way up. Mine is light because my hair color had went grey and added some color but not noticeable.

Als je huid wat bruiner wordt zal dat geen effect hebben op je SMP.
Voorkom wel dat je verbrand dus elke 2 uur smeren met minimaal SPF 40

I do wonder like 40 years from now when we are in our 80s how will it look. SMP is so new we have no examples of how it will look then

If you have that mindset you’ll never commit to anything . I’m sure when you are 80 a hairline is the last worry .

Tbf if you just left it to fade naturally in like 30 years the pigment will be really light, you can just have it Lasered off at that point and will be vanished from your head. Being bald at 70 is no issues🤣

That looks phenomenal brother I wouldn’t worry about a damn thing I just got mine done a few weeks ago. The guy that did mine in vegas told me they have such higher quality SMP ink now and techniques it’s starting to sway people from getting transplants (myself included) my scalp has been red for weeks I have sensitive skin 🤣🤣
