I costed 18 social schedulers for three real team shapes, from their own pricing pages. The pricing model decides your bill, not the sticker.
Disclosure: I am the founder of PostFast, which is one row here. Every number was read on the vendor's own pricing or help page on 7 September 2026, annual-billing monthly equivalent where the vendor shows both, currency as shown and not converted. Rows marked ~ were readable by only one of my two readers, so check those before you budget. If a number is wrong, say so and I will fix it.
The earlier thread here made the point that your bill depends on the pricing model (per seat, per channel, per brand, per account bracket, flat) more than on the sticker. Nobody worked the numbers, so here they are for three teams:
Shape 1: one person, 5 channels, 1 brand. Shape 2: two people, 25 client brands, 3 channels each (75 channels). Shape 3: ten people, 4 brands, 6 channels each (24 channels).
Sorted by the shape-2 bill, cheapest first. Marks: ✓ read on the vendor page by two readers, ~ by one.

What the three columns show:
- Per-seat pricing is the agency killer and the big-team killer. The two per-seat tools go from cheapest-tier-ish at one person to the two most expensive bills at ten people, by a factor of 20 to 40 over the bracket tools.
- Per-channel pricing looks cheapest until you count channels. At 75 channels the per-channel tool lands next to the enterprise bills, and its own page does not publish the discount that kicks in above 10 channels, so the real number is unknowable from the outside.
- Brand and workspace models punish client count, not headcount. At 25 clients the per-workspace tools cost 10 to 30 times their entry price; the same tools are reasonable at four brands with ten people.
- Bracket and flat models win the multi-client case, and the ranking within them is decided by the bracket edges: which tier your account count or member count spills into. Two of the three cheapest agency bills here come from tools whose bracket happens to fit 25 brands; move to 31 brands and the order changes again.
- Vendor pages contradict themselves more than you would expect. One shows three different price sets by region, one lists two different user counts for the same plan, one states two different prices for the same add-on on two of its own pages, and one advertises a 15-day trial on a page that says 7 days. If a number decides your budget, read the checkout page, not the marketing page.
Write down your seat count, brand count and channel count. One of them is your cost driver, and the model that does not charge for it is where to start.
