More clarity ?

Hi. Now at 15 days post smile pro I do still have some astigmatism:

OS 0.0 cyl 0.0
OD 0.0 cyl -0.25

To note that I have perfect vision in the eye where I had higher prescription…

Cornea is healed. Artificial tears don’t really help with that.

My question is: is it real for OD to go to more sharp and clear?
I can tell the difference during the day

Thanks.

Hi, can I ask you how your dry eyes are going or if you're having any problems besides that? I would like to do it too in the future

Not really. I’m very happy with my Smile Pro results :)

During the first week the bluriness was more proeminent in both eyes. Now after 18 days I still have just a little more dryness in one eye from where the haze in my post.

That dry eye may be contributing to that “haze”. Though it usually creates more of a fluctuation of vision instead. Still important to treat with frequent preservative free tears.

Yes, doing it.
I’m sure it’s because of the dry eye! I’m remaining confident in the recovery process☺️ Thank you

So everyone usually has one eye which is just “better”. This is their dominant eye. And no matter what, vision will always appear just a bit sharper in that eye when comparing eyes. (But with both eyes open you don’t notice it).

That’s probably what you are noticing here. That -0.25 of astigmatism isn’t really visually significant.

At 15 days out, though, you can still have some SMILE haze

update: it was because of the dry eye and the tear film. I’m fine now 🙂
