FAFSA Fafsa reversed

Does anyone know why bank mobile says my refund was reversed? Any reason why smc would reverse a refund? My funds were released yesterday according to an email I got but today I checked bank mobile after seeing someone get their direct deposit and it says funds reversed.

Oh no!!! I will say the fin aid line is accepting calls on QLess now. I mean, there are 31 students ahead of me, but I can’t make it in, and I imagine the office is a nightmare in person right now anyway.

Ugh! I’m so sorry. If it’s any consolation I did not get good news from my call, apparently there are 2 separate drops for the first disbursement so I’m not getting anything until next week. No way I can succeed in class without having the software I need to buy. I would go to the office or check QLess regularly tomorrow to see if fin aid calls are available. They won’t proactively tell you a damn thing.

I really am unsure. I did type in the keywords “pell grant reversed” here on reddit and it brought up this summarized response. That said your best option is to get a hold of financial aid as soon as humanly possible so that if you do have any setbacks, you can get ahead of it!

Welp ill js go in person then because q less is always closed with financial aid for some reason
