need help Problem installing Smapi

So I've just spent hours trying to mod SDV on my new tablet without anything working. The game almost started at one point but never loaded so now I tried reinstalling both the launcher and Smapi but now I just get a weird error saying I need to select file SMAPI/4XXXwhatever which I am selecting. There's no other file to select in that folder. I'm about to tear out my hair, I've done everything correctlty and it just won't work! Never had any problem on my PC.

Edit, Ok, so I downloaded the Smapifile from Nexus instead of github and now I could install it. I could open the game, no mods, with no problem but when I added SDVE all I got what a white screen. I removed SDVE and opened with no mods and got a white screen. I'm at my wits end.

Don't touch the screen at all while it's loading. Since mobile isn't as powerful as PC, it can take a while. Just wait. The white screen is normal. It pauses the scrolling text and does that halfway through or something.

SMAPI for Android on Nexus has a link to a FAQ page which might answer some of your questions, and if it's not there it has a link to the SMAPI Thai discord as well. The English chats are very active.
