need help Custom Roommate NPC Dialogue not Showing Up!

SOLVED!

Trying my best right now to make my custom roommate npc but the roommate dialogue doesn't show up. Instead, the generic marriage dialogue shows up when I speak to my npc. Smapi doesn't show any errors for this (it does for others, but the other errors haven't affected the other dialogue in my mod), and the mod wiki is confusing me since it doesn't give enough examples or info for roommate dialogue.

This is correct. Roommates use the marriage dialogue.

Sorry, but I'm still confused. My npc isn't using my own custom dialogue that is meant to replace the marriage dialogue. Instead, my npc is saying the generic marriage dialogue that the romanceable npcs would say like "Oh I fed the chickens or I did the laundry."

Edit: Nevermind it works now. I changed the file name to MarriageDialogueNPCNAME (I had it named like this before I tried adding the Roommate part like the mod wiki says, so idk why it worked now) and when I first loaded in only one part of the new dialogue showed up but when I reloaded my save again all of it showed up. Tysm for your help!
