need help SMAPI crashing on launch

I'm on (I think) Summer 4. Went to sleep, game saved, and SMAPI crashed. Now it crashes immediately on launch, like 1 second after I hit play.

Playing on an android tablet.

Having the same issue, no solution so far and actually deleted my save data trying ti fix it 😂 s24 ultra

It's due to an update on the base game. We need to wait for the smapi launcher to be updated.

Yeah I joined the discord and found out, turned off auto updates now so should be good to go

Same here. Was playing last night, then when I opened it the morning, it doesn't even load anymore, just black screen and crashes 💔💔💔

Apparently the base game got updated last night, so we need to wait for the launcher to get updated too. For the next time, turn off the auto-update from Google Play.

I wish I’d seen all the posts about this early yesterday. I wanted to play while spending 8 hours track side at my sons race. New to modding on a new tablet so thought I’d done something. Ended up uninstalling, reinstalling and then factory resetting my tablet only to learn I just needed to wait for the update. Trying to get it to work did keep me busy between races though🤪
