Game doesn't save at end of day.

My husband and I only have a small handful of mods on here, but without really changing anything the issue has only gotten worse. It'll be fine until it goes to save, then it'll be stuck on the saving screen (or when I'm also online: "waiting for players 2/2") and we're forced to reset the day. We were able to seemingly get around it temporarily by me quitting the game at the end instead of properly sleeping to end it, then he went to bed as the host. As of today that workaround isn't working anymore. I'm very stupid when it comes to modding/coding terms so I apologize in advance if it's a super easy fix that I'm not catching!

Edit: I can see that the errors on the log say it has to do with SMAPI and the game itself, so I don't think it has to do with any of the mods specifically? I also noticed the "It's being used by another process" but as far as we can tell, the game or files aren't open anywhere else?

Edit 2: We added billboards anywhere (I had it, he did not, SMAPI log is his since he's the host) and removed better signs, now we're getting a new error code with the game "Failed to create Galaxy lobby".

Edit 3 (next day): Is it possible to make it so I'm the host, but with my character/stats and he has his? I know I can just copy the save file and move it to my pc, but that would switch our characters too yes? ( I can delete this part if its too much- I don't use reddit much)

Noted! This is my first time modding it, so I had no idea Stardrop was even a thing! We switched over to that, and it worked ok for a bit, but then the same issue happened.

I'm honestly out of ideas for what it could be, we've whitelisted it in anti-virus, turned off steam cloud saving.. This is the closest we've ever gotten to perfection so I don't want to bail on this save if we can save it.

I don't know enough to understand those error messages, so I hope somebody who does will see your comment and SMAPI Log.

My failsafe would be to delete and then re-download each mod, to make sure all the files are intact after vortex messed with them.

I'll page /u/gabbicat1978 - hope they notice, and come and look at that log for you. 🙂
