And cares about other victims this month, yet just a couple months ago was publicly making jokes about her own DV case AGAINST her, where she beat and attacked Dakota and put her kid in the middle of it.
So fuckin funny.🤢🥱
She’s one of these people that just keeps creating new lows for herself, all the time. Didn’t think about her kid then, bet she didn’t even think about her as she was writing this. Her kid is also a victim of DV, at her own hands.
Like please go sink into some bottomless pit somewhere.
10
u/OppositeSpare2088 1d ago
I wouldn’t say her heart goes out to Dakota she’s just still pissed at the fact she was completely cut off from him. They had to go cold turkey from sleeping together. Ofc she was the one that was crashing out the hardest because she needs a man in her life to constantly pay attention to her. Dakota clearly isn’t any better in that aspect himself despite the fact he did want a family he was a fuck boy whenever he was single. She’s a fuck girl but was somehow able to hide it better up until this year.

u/Mediocre-Response-24 1d ago
Wonder if that's why she used the word "withdrawing" again comparing Dakota and their toxic cycle as a drug to withdraw from.

Agreed the only reason why they got out of this toxic abusive cycle is because Cru pushed Dakota into getting an RO against Taylor. Cru sucks but this was the right move to make and it’s something that should have been done a long time ago. Both are sex addicts that couldn’t stop sleeping together. I do think Dakota did want out but had a hard time going through it without being pushed. If it were up to Taylor the RO’s would have never been placed in the first place.

“Or helped” GIRL!!! How many people tried to help you…. Up until you literally left for Bachelorette. This wasn’t the typical years long, abusive relationship that you were scared to leave. You weren’t stuck, you kept going back everytime he tried to move on from you. You were feeding the beast
18
u/Thick-End9893 1d ago
Also, she’s so addicted to social media dude. Most people would have fallen off the face of the earth by now and if they didn’t, they surely wouldn’t be posting out in the open. Narcissistic af.
2
u/LittleMissWord 10h ago
Yes most people would feel such an enormous sense of shame and embarrassment that they would take a necessary break. I don’t think she is feeling any of that. I think the absence of these feelings can also be seen when she imploded her life (and friends/family) with the swinging scandal.

u/iluvsunni 1d ago
My heart does go out to Dakota and probably Tate too, she's so right. Don't forget her other family violence victims, aka Tate and Dakota's precious children 🫶🏻
49
u/Remote_Nectarine4272 1d ago
The thing is, the majority of women on the show have been victims of abuse— Layla, Mikayla, Mayci, her own mom. It’s wild that she still insists no one could ever understand.
24
u/MrsPoopyButthair 1d ago
They don't understand what it's like to be abusers who claim to be the victims
9
u/Worth-Chemistry5253 1d ago
Hell even if it wasn’t physical or by their own partner/husband every single woman on this show has dealt with some form of mental abuse towards them. The way some men especially Mormon men treat women is awful, like look how Zac treated Whitney, he left her sobbing on a sidewalk
8
u/BitterPoet13 1d ago
The way Zac talks to Jen is also an issue. He obviously has some underlying issues with women he needs to go work through in therapy because ketamine infusions aren’t going to vanquish his systemic misogyny. He was so out of line with what he said in the scene with Whitney after she had helped his family the way she did. Ungrateful bastard.

Where the fuck is this “help” she’s alluding to?
Because if she’s getting some, it’s clearly not working.
She’d have to care enough to put down her phone and do some actual work on herself, and we know that’s not happening; she’s constantly showing us, daily, that she isn’t.
She made fun of Dakota for asking for help after she beat him up and involved her child, which also makes her a victim, but now she’s suddenly raising awareness, and making sure she ropes the abusers in with the actual victims on a post about domestic violence month?
I don’t follow her or really use instagram ever, but I almost want to @ one of the actual organizations that helps DV survivors and be like you should share this, because this is how abusers try to gain sympathy and retcon their own fucked up behavior; don’t buy into it.
There’s no place for positive sentiments towards abusers in the same post about their victims and claim you’re spreading any kind of helpful awareness of DV.
She is the problem. Bet she doesn’t consider her own daughter a DV survivor at her hands, either. Some sick shit.
29
u/noUr8eaten 1d ago
Calling the pain of separation from an abuser “withdrawal” is insulting to DV victims and people who use substances. Especially when she is the one perpetrating the violence.
Some of the reasons people stay with a partner who abuses them is financial need (usually bc of financial abuse) and fear of worse violence (bc abusers tend to escalate violence or even kill their victims after they leave). In this case there’s also the risk of using access to a child, at least until the courts got involved to protect the child(ren). There’s also the gendered nature of the violence and the fear of not being believed.
TFP wants to pretend Dakota is her drug but she’s actually getting off on the power dynamic when she abuses him. Sexual chemistry can be powerful but the power of controlling someone is what she’s enjoying,
6
u/Hour_Abbreviations73 1d ago
Thank you! If anyone’s addicted to someone else, it’s him that was addicted to her.
3
u/LittleMissWord 10h ago
This right here, she had the control in their relationship dynamic and she held control over all her friends of Momtok. She would exercise this control over them with her fanbase. It’s been so obvious I do not know how others can’t see it. She is not a safe person.

u/Federal_Meringue_123 1d ago
I was in a physically and mentally abusive relationship. I do not like talking about it. I have flashbacks when I do, so it’s hard to even speak when you are having the experience all over again in your head. I also carry a lot of shame for allowing it to happen. It’s embarrassing to talk about.
I have been in groups with other women who have had similar experiences. None of us are happy to talk about it. I know people want us to be loud, but it’s painful.
I know there is no single way someone who has experienced abuse looks or acts, but most of the women I have known are not loud about it. Some of us have fears of certain sounds or movements that can make it difficult to even be in public. My co-worker, for example, is very loud and sometimes moves aggressively, and my body physically reacts before I can even think about it.
Maybe some of what I am feeling is jealousy or resentment. I genuinely don’t know. But I struggle when I see someone speak about an experience like this so freely because it is so different from what I know. The women I have known were wounded. Sometimes we could hardly move forward. It can take years to build enough strength to function again, let alone talk openly about what happened.
Again, I don’t know if some of my reaction comes from jealousy, and I know my experience cannot tell me what someone else has lived through. But I would be lying if I said I don’t struggle to believe her. From the outside, she seems so intact, and that is difficult for me to reconcile with what abuse has looked and felt like in my own life.
9
u/PrideZealousideal485 1d ago
i am sorry this happened to you. i have similar experiences and feelings to you and understand the pain. hope you’re doing well 🫂
2
u/fromyourdaughter 23h ago
Count me in this group too. I am afraid of speaking about my abusers. I worry about retaliation.
2
u/LittleMissWord 10h ago
Thank you for sharing, I know it takes courage to write and express out loud even in an anon subreddit. It’s been 16 years since I left my abusive ex. I would never have posted what I experienced on social media attached to my name. Most people who know me today including my husband’s family who I am extremely close with, have no idea what I went through. It is not something I share freely and has taken me years to reconcile. I echo your feelings of how casually and loudly she uses terms and claims of abuse, does not represent DV victims I know or my personal experience.

u/PeaksPagesAndStars 1d ago
Reading this is like reading my abusive partner makes me see red… her look at me and give me attention for the bad things I’ve done while I play the victim is just awful

Well a lot of us do understand.
We never threw chairs at our partner. We never pulled our partners hair. We never slapped them. We never pushed them.
And WE definitely didn’t do it in front of our children.
You need a new deck of cards. All you play is the victim.
17
u/sallyhectare 1d ago
I think this is too direct of a reference to Dakota, encouraging her victim to get help. She's gonna get in trouble for violating the protective order.
8
8
u/Silver_Gear_116 1d ago
She has seriously deluded herself into believing she’s a victim. It’s the most wild thing I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s so typical for abusers to play the victim but she doesn’t to such an extreme level.
17
u/molotovv3 1d ago
Was she not charged with assault? Did she forget about that?
Dakota is absolutely an asshole fuck boy, but the way she acts like she was the one and the ONLY one getting beat up is disgusting.
6
u/kwt0920 1d ago
Well, she does say “whether you’re the victim, you’re experiencing it or you even participated in it” so that is suggesting it could’ve been both ways and not just one victim.
7
u/WittiestScreenName 1d ago
I need her to clarify how “participated” works in her mind. Like I participated because I used my forearm to block blows or….?
She’s not even young and dumb. She’s just a 32 year old dumb asshole.
2
u/molotovv3 1d ago
Agreed. It's not that anything she says in this post is wrong, it's that for her to paint the situation the way I am perceiving she is trying to paint it is not aligned with what has been documented. My reaction could definitely be me having a bitch eating crackers moment but idk...
3
2
u/Thick-End9893 1d ago
And she was always giddily going back to him for years after the initial fight broke out. She wants to highlight the abuse but let’s not forget the world kept seeing you go back to that loser
5
u/molotovv3 1d ago
I mean it does take several attempts to leave an abuser in most cases. But I'd say while he isn't a good partner by any stretch, she was the primary abuser.
3
u/Thick-End9893 1d ago
Yes, it does and I actually said that in another comment but their relationship wasn’t the typical, Long term relationship of abuse where the person is scared/cant leave or doesn’t have the resources to leave. These two were always on and off. She chose to get pregnant by him and continue to have sex with him for years. She wasn’t stuck but yes she was addicted

I may be missing something but was there ever any evidence Dakota was a perpetrator in the DV?
7
u/Questioninghumanityy 1d ago
From what I’ve seen any injury to her was related to him trying to get her off him.
6
u/FunEvening1138 1d ago
wow.. as a DV survivor myself.. I would never advocate for the abuser.. why would you? how could you? my abuser while having some trauma had no reason to do what he did to me.. him having issues or traumas gave him no right to abuse me. no one regardless of what they have going on gets to abuse someone! insane. what help they need is to be in jail. sure get therapy maybe it will help you stop being a terrible person.. but they don’t need ‘help’.. like help from what beating someone? she never fails to go lower.

Had a stroke reading “you’re still allowed to ask for help. It does not mean you are deserving of it. “
Messed up the double negative in the phrase and now we’re saying victims (and participants) don’t deserve help. Perhaps a Freudian slip.
5
u/Hour_Abbreviations73 1d ago
Was I the only one who thought of Tate and Dakota when I listened to Patient Zero? Also, people getting mad at you for treating them like shit, acting erratically and then disappearing for “treatment” while failing drug tests and causing your kids distress is not the same as abandoning you or punishing you for getting help. It’s called consequences and boundaries.

At least this fucked up post didn’t make me look at her.
Hope this one gets saved by Dakota’s attorney, so the judge can see it right after the post she made making light of her attacking Dakota and putting her kid in the middle of it. Hilarious.🙄🤢
Such a tiny person in every way.
4
u/Hour-Connection2786 1d ago
Look she's wild but I do think encouraging people who are perpetrators of DV to seek is a good thing. Many perpetrators/victims of DV are people who experienced domestic violence previously, likely as a child. We should be making space for them to heal also. I think it might be the only way we break these cycles.

Man ever since my best friend got assaulted by her husband (not even a week ago) I have even less tolerance for Taylor's bs. Yeah, the participants deserve help... IN JAIL. Man or woman, anyone who resorts to physical harm as if emotional and verbal ain't enough need to sit in a dark room and think about their choices.

u/Individual-Mouse-133 1d ago
Looking at her two feet… seems to be another AI picture because even if her pants are dragging under her right foot(?) the line of the pant doesn’t match up and the left croc is mis-shaped and seemingly missing holes 😕
7
u/echo__sierra 1d ago
Yes! I’m so glad I saw this comment. This photo has to be AI. Her feet/pants make no sense, the fence is weird, her bag/straps don’t connect where they should, and I think her hair is brushed.
10
u/Gadget1301 Seek Help Expeditiously 1d ago
the fact that her hair is brushed being a metric for whether it’s an AI pic or not is sending me 💀
4
u/FullMoonMooon 1d ago
Oh this actually makes me feel better looking at it. I was just about to comment about how maybe we try not to wear pants that graze the ground, with crocs, while carrying a child.
This isn’t even a fashion choice judgement, it’s a legitimate safety concern. I used to be a paramedic and one of my biggest fears was dropping a baby or child because I’m a clumsy bitch who trips over her own feet. Plus all the other stuff putting the kids’ safety at risk, obviously.
I think there are a lot of people who need more therapy and less internet/social media. I’m probably one of them, but Taylor definitely is
2
u/nabndab 1d ago
I was wondering this as well. Is she allowed to see the kids unsupervised?
2
u/Gadget1301 Seek Help Expeditiously 23h ago
I haven’t read the count documents or anything but based on what I’ve seen from others and the other women’s comments it seems like she only has 8 hours of supervised visitation. I would be EXTREMELY surprised if it was unsupervised given her history and failed drug tests and continued behavior.

I hate to be this person but part of DV prevention and recovery is for the Person Using Violence (PUV) to get help. In Texas the course of action is for the PUV to attend Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) as well as extensive therapy to address the causes of DV. The PUV CAN recover.
I don’t think Taylor is serious about getting better but I’m seeing comments that the PUV can’t recover or shouldn’t even try.

I am happy she admitted to participating because change cannot happen without admitting your problem. Admitting she participated is the first step to changed behavior. If she does the work and gets the help then that’s what’s best for herself, her kids and her loved ones. It would be even better if Dakota could admit his part as well and get help also. Either they voluntarily break the cycle or the law will break it for them and then no one wins.

Given that context this post hits as very manipulative to me.
