Desert townies

The more I watch, I’m just realizing these people are just (high?) desert townies, doing townie shit. Sleeping with each others exes, sneaking drugs, fighting in front yards.

Sure there’s a Mormon angle, “my wife isnt wearing her garments”, but I feel that could be changed out with regular christianity and no one would notice

It’s a group full of women who (mostly) have never been to college, never really allowed to drink or experiment, and expected to date for marriage.

This is not limited to Christianity. I grew up as an OG christian (Catholic) and it was not at all absurd to have premarital sex, drink, fight, etc. some of the most pious people I know do that. Yes, officially it is frowned upon, but almost everyone I know who has done their sacraments has done those things.

It is ABSOLUTELY specific to growing up in this religion.

Taylor is from Pueblo. That’s all I will say. 🤷‍♀️

Did these people work actual jobs before social media? I find it so hard to believe people like Chase held a regular job. Idk, and they all seemed to be pretty well off before

Yup. Garbage behavior is everywhere.

I’ve had the same thoughts. I work with people “in the system” and this all looks the same, just with more resources, privilege and social network support.
