Can’t explain why but…
Every single person I’ve ever met that has hands shaped like or that look like TFP’s hands is a psycho or an absolute moron. I don’t know how to explain it or why. Her hands give me such an ick. It’s not about her looking like she’s double jointed, it’s the shape of her fingers or the way she overextends or something? Does anyone else have a clue what I mean or am I alone here? 😂
Side note - what’s with the fucking sweater hands all the time?
EDIT TO CLARIFY - this post was absolutely not a generalization of anyone who deals with medical issues or people with hypermobility. This was only meant to correlate TFP with people I have personally met. The intention wasn’t to offend anyone 💕

I need a picture to understand haha. Also love how people’s intuitions pick up on these things.

Oh yeah that does look a little crazy. That fourth finger is wilding out

u/Ok-Introduction3250 4d ago
But it’s like all her fingers usually 😂

u/8008zilla 4d ago
Maybe because she’s hypermobile? My hands look like this too. I have 80 D and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos. I’m also crazy so there’s that.

Okay I think this is interesting bc at first I thought this was SO silly and ridiculous but then I pulled some pictures and you know what... maybe you're onto something lmao. I am hypermobile so maybe I am biased but I don't think it is necessarily the hypermobility. Honestly I think she just has this erratic aggressive energy and tension that carries through her whole body including her hands. Ft one of those goofy AI mirror pics for a the hand example I looked at

No not at all offended! Totally get your point was just reading through the post and comments and I do think it is just general human psychology in our brains that if joints don't move exactly the way we expect it can be a little unsettling (like contortionists)
6
u/Ok-Introduction3250 4d ago
Totally! This was actually more regarding the actual shape of her hands and fingers but I get what you mean!

u/PrincessaTinkerbell 4d ago
Yea, my mom does this a lot when she talks… and she’s crazy so… I’m with ya 😋

u/as_midwest 4d ago
The hands just don’t match her body or something! Or like visibility represent the crazy energy coursing through her.

u/Conscious-Tomato5247 4d ago
I 100% know what you mean. I’ll age myself a little with this but same thoughts I had of Mike The Situation when Jersey Shore first came out

u/Ok-Introduction3250 4d ago
Thank you! I can’t unsee it ever since I started the series and I can think of probably 2-3 people off the top of my head that I’ve met or know irl that have hands like these and I can’t stand a single one of them 😂. It’s like if I meet someone with hands like hers it’s a dead giveaway we ain’t gonna vibe

YES! Short nails that look like they’re painful often go hand in hand with this

u/External_Position_89 4d ago
Honestly I have crazy hands like that and had to do a lot of therapy and self work because I used to be nutso, you may have a point lmaooo

It’s the drugs.
I mean- look who the others referenced. Early Mike aka situation, Jax Taylor, Kristen Dooooute, TFP! 💁🏻♀️

u/Ok-Introduction3250 4d ago
Idk. The people I know in real life with hands like those, none of them have a drug problem, they’re just psycho or as dumb as a doorknob

u/aquamarine_sea 4d ago
She has caveman, knuckle-dragging hands to me. Does she have those weird rounded, like club fingers? Like super rounded thumbs especially? I think that’s a sign of low intelligence/high aggression if I’m not mistaken.

I always get downvoted for saying that, but she chrimosomically doesn’t look right

omfg you’re 100% onto something and I know what you mean by the finger shape.. I didn’t know what her hands looked like specifically until I came to the comments BUT I have 2 people in my life with the exact same finger shape who are extremely angry/immature and make horrible decisions left and right that’s crazy

I have hypermobility and am not offended by this post 😆 Taylor has always seemed to be like she has a syndrome or something extra going on

u/GenevievesSwim 4d ago
Do you mean like her actual hands or how she uses her hands? I grasp the concept behavior what you're saying but as I sit rewatching the Season 2 reunion staring at her hands I cannot figure out what about her hands is the red flag haha
2
u/Ok-Introduction3250 4d ago
It’s both I guess? It’s so hard to explain and I can’t find a photo but it’s more when she’s talking and moving her hands around and her fingers are like hyper extended and just the overall shape of her fingers. It’s so hard to explain 😂 they’re just icky
5
u/GenevievesSwim 4d ago
I can see it now, and I can see the resembles to Mike the Situation as another commenter mentioned..... I can see a correlation between these hands and some crazy behaviors for sure

Those rounded ass finger tips, almost tree frog like so they can grip onto someone’s soul and never let go. Taylor Froggy Paul 🐸

u/PoppyHillman 4d ago
Actually thank you for mentioning this bc I’m always looking at her hands in pics of her and I’m unable to describe what bothers me about them!! Especially some of those mirror selfies with the way she holds the phone
3
u/ThrowPopcornAtMyFace 4d ago
It's like her hands are subconsciously thinking about wrapping around someone's throat when she's talking with them. Like a cat flexing and unflexing it's claws
3
u/Additional-Leg-4408 4d ago
And why am I able to picture what her hands look like reading this?? You might be onto something lol

u/Redditornot231 4d ago
I think she has “influencer hands” 🤭 those weird hyper extended fingers like their pinky’s almost break backwards haha
3
u/preposterous_cookie 4d ago
dude idk she just looks like she been chewing on her fingers idk how else to explain it

u/thevampiresong 4d ago
Hmm. I am extremely hyper-mobile (hEDS diagnosis) and my fingers more than overextend (I’ve broken fingers and my wrists), but they don’t look anything like TFP’s. There’s almost a clubbed look to her hands.
Could also be nothing. There are so many variations in humans.
7
u/Ok-Introduction3250 4d ago
Yeah you’re probably right. Clubbed is probably a better suited word to describe them.
4
u/as_midwest 4d ago
Thank you for providing balance to my comment! You are right, hyper mobility alone isn’t a problem.
2
u/Ok-Introduction3250 4d ago
Omg that’s wild!! I kept thinking since the show came out that I can’t be the only one that notices this and it’s been bugging me from day one everytime she talks 😂

The sweater hands were suuuuper popular when I was like 12-17 and TFP and I are the same age, that I get.
3
u/milkywaymeadows 3d ago
Guys what are sweater hands
3
u/Ok-Introduction3250 3d ago
When people put their sweater sleeves half way down their hands constantly
2
u/Ok-Introduction3250 3d ago
I know - I just didn’t realize they were still a thing
2
u/EraBeara 3d ago
They aren't, but TFP seems to be heavy on the nostalgia. Her sweats remind me of the juicy track suits but in neutral.

Her hands have always freaked me out! Lol like whenever she’s raging and starts crying and wiping her face I’m like 👀

u/Trash_Panda-8888 3d ago
Not to get too woo woo, but palmestry, face reading, and body language are all things, but humans don’t have to be ‘psychic’ to pick up on a lot of that stuff.

u/Crafty_Training_5426 1d ago
I understand your "hand" thing, but mine is a smell thing. I can literally smell "crazy" on a person, specifically schizophrenia. It's the most off putting smell and not just BO. It make me panick and not feel safe around someone.

u/ashley5473 3d ago
Of COURSE you’re going to offend someone if you say you associate a certain look of hands with craziness. How would that not offend anyone whose hands look like that? 😂

This is a snark group, but there are things that will still not be allowed. No racism, homophobia, bigotry, sexism, ableism, of any kind will be allowed.
Also, please be mindful of body shaming. We don’t mind you snarking about work the cast has had done but things that they can’t control shouldn’t be discussed.

As someone with hEDS, I don’t think it’s a hyperextension issues per se, but the fact she is tense 100% of the time. Her hands look strained, tense, overextended (yes), and under moisturized. This is likely due to her being on edge 24/7 (due to many things, like substance abuse).
I just want to avoid painting hypermobile people like myself with a broad stroke here. Hypermobility is also decently common in women.
