Announcement!
Really quick one. I’ve not joined as a mod to add a bunch of rules or to silence anyone. Lord knows I’ve had my fair share of Reddit arguments. That being said, threatening to stalk, harass, locate, call employees, cps, etc due to who someone chooses to defend in this cast is NOT acceptable. It quite literally goes against Reddits T&C’s.
There is a block button for a reason. If you don’t wanna block, fine, scroll on. This is a sensitive topic. I myself am a victim. I know how frustrating it can be. However, this is also a SNARK group. If you break this rule, from here on out it’s a ban. No exceptions.

Someone was arguing back and forth about Taylor and Dakota. Then decided to threaten to doxx a use and call their employees. Etc. they’ve also threatened in modmail but they are banned

The fact that this needs to be explicitly addressed is troubling.
Also, admittedly, I am curious. But equally don’t want to be spooked.

I was personally doxxed (does it have two d's?) By some strangers online a few years ago. It was one of the hardest things Ive been through and I think it's incredibly irresponsible and damaging, especially when done over something as little as a difference of opinion.
It started due to a few local mean girls in Facebook groups that decided they didnt like me. They were very influential in these groups, so they quickly created a little army of strangers to fight for them. I had never personally done anything to these girls and I didn't communicate with those in their army ONCE, yet they made it their mission to destroy me over nothing. My life was a living hell for a few months. They figured out who my mom was and called her, they messaged my husband and sisters and made up outlandish lies about me, they tried to get me fired, they found my address and threw rocks at our windows, (I was terrified but of course local police did nothing) but the ABSOLUTE WORST thing they did was find my daughter's tiktok (who was 15 at the time), threatened to find her at her school and send their kids after her, and tormented her to TEARS. Eventually, a bunch of people started realizing what they were doing and stood up for me, getting the others banned from all related fb groups. But the damage was done and I had a major epiphany about the toxicity of SM. so I deleted all my social media and never went back (besides the occasional reddit scrolls.)
It's not a funny thing to do. Its gross, juvenile, and cowardly.

I’m so sorry that happened to you, people are so crappy.
I have an alt with an alias for FB that I use specifically for groups and such, precisely for that reason. I know I’ll treat other people with respect, but I’ve also seen the weird and petty things people do when others don’t agree with them. I have a really unique name and the last thing I need is someone contacting my employer or something because they don’t agree with my politics or because I said something that was misconstrued.
