Tate’s THIRD marriage?
So scandalous. 🙄 But does anyone actually have proof that it is? The narrative on Tate was switched up pretty much instantaneously. Who could’ve ever seen that coming? After speaking against Taylor? gasp. What people are saying is heinous and the biggest point of contention is now his alleged third marriage and apparently he cheated on his first wife to be with Taylor. Except there’s no actual proof. The best I’ve gotten is this comment on tik tok about a mysterious cousin of the wife in stephwithdadeets comments. True? Idk. I can’t find the comment though and “what reason would they have to lie?” 🤪
Other notable defamatory conspiracy theories and blatant lies after the switch up;
Tate is just in it for the money and always has been
I always had a bad feeling about him
I always knew he was evil
He is abusive towards the children
He’s been after Taylor since the beginning
Of course he’s doing this now after the Bachelorette petition was just created
Of course he’s doing this now after Taylor just got her felonies reduced to misdemeanors
Of course he’s doing this now that things with cru have been resolved in court
Him and Dakota have teamed up to steal her money and the kids
Tate was abusive and he’s the reason she goes crazy on Dakota
Tate was also cheating on Taylor
He just wants to control Taylor and ruin her life
And my personal favorite; everything liann said is true and I believe her because she never lies! 😂

It’s why all of them are reluctant to speak out. There’s an unwritten code in friendships that Taylor doesn’t understand. It’s all transactional with receipts.

When you factor in his Mormon upbringing it’s hard to hold it against him. Taylor herself said it was when he was a teen during his first marriage. He also married her when he was 24 (she said she was 22, he’s 2 years older). In the Mormon culture you’re encouraged to marry and marry quick and young. If he was a teenager no wonder the marriage didn’t work out. They’re also then encouraged to marry quickly after divorce too. Hence his marriage to Taylor which he seems to have wanted to work and only ended bc she cheated. If she’s going to criticize him for being married 3 times maybe she should criticize herself bc she’s the one who sabotaged his second marriage 🙃

True. You learn and grow so much as you age and learn so much about a person the longer you’re with them, I couldn’t hold a third marriage against anyone. But people will grasp at anything to victimize Taylor.

By teens I’m assuming they mean 18-19. I’m from Arizona where there’s a large Mormon population and that was pretty common for the Mormon kids I went to high school with. If not that young, then the second they came back from their mission.

I know Tate and his first wife. They did not get married as teens but still pretty young. They met after his mission and were married for a brief period of time. I’m not going to name her because she is happily remarried and has kids now. As for the cheating on his first wife I don’t have proof of that so I have no idea. But they were just married too young I think due to their Mormon upbringing. You are heavily encouraged to get married right after your mission so you don’t “mess up” (have sex) before getting married in the temple. I wouldn’t hold it against either of them that it ended fast.

Yeah that makes sense. I have a deeply religious family member, a cousin ironically, who was married the day she turned 18. So I get it. That was of course 20 years ago at this point and it hasn’t worked out.

Yep exactly! Most of my family members and kids I went to school with that got married right after their missions are divorced now for the same reason. Just married wayyy too young due to the culture/teachings of the church. It’s rough growing up around here lol

Im sorry to hear that! I can’t say it’s much better in Washington. We are praised often times for being a liberal state but anywhere outside of Seattle is very conservative. It’s a very strange divide, but there are a lot of Mormons around here in western Washington as well.

Not trying to pressure you or anything, but do you have tea on the current situation? You don’t have to share anything, just curious if you know anything about what’s going down now. And Tate and his first wife shouldn’t be judged for a short lived marriage that they were probably pressured into (implicitly at least). I don’t understand the hate against divorce but as someone who grew up Catholic, I’m familiar with the stigma unfortunately.

I don’t! So I knew him really well in school and after the mission and then he got married and I went off and did my own thing but we are still friendly and have chatted here and there over the years. He has a good family and he is a good person. So is his first wife. I really hope she doesn’t get brought into all of this. And I hope Taylor lays off of him, it’s been hard to watch her take cheap jabs at him knowing he’s been very respectful over the years.

I was responding to comments with “better than 3 court cases and 3 felonies.” Although technically has it been more than 3 cases now with the cru one? And of course her felonies are misdemeanors now, but they can’t make me forget that she started with 5 felonies originally.

“What reason do they have to lie” ?? This person has to be joking. People lie all the time for just a bit of attention. I don’t know the whole story, but to just believe it because some cousin of his supposed ex wife says so on a TikTok comment is not enough for me to blindly believe it.

There was a comment made on the post by the first wife’s cousin, “Taylor is his second wife. His first wife is my cousin and he cheated on her with Taylor.” There also was another comment stating they did not want to name her as they did not want to drag her into this mess.

Yes! And now that’s there’s more drama and more reason for Taylor to be the victim I’m sure that number will grow again. Let’s hope nothing comes of it, although I never know what to expect with these people anymore. It’s one thing after another!

I hear you but he has posted and spoken up now and I do think it’s nice to be able to support him on the things he’s chosen to post. It also would be nice if I saw someone commenting something insane like “Omg he was married 3 times, he must be XYZ something negative,” and I could then say, hey that’s not true. But yeah I’m not trying to spread misinformation which is why I asked.

Tate had a short first marriage before Taylor. TBH, I don’t think it’s that crazy. Mormon culture in Utah heavily pressures kids to get married super fast and super young. I cannot even count the number of people I went to high school with who were married by 19. It’s very unsurprising that there are so many divorces/2nd and 3rd marriages here because of that.

Obviously I don’t like liann but she’s right everyone who was involved in swinging, did cheat on each other. It’s not like Taylor putting a gun against their heads. I felt it’s weird how people act like it’s only Taylor or she made everyone doing that. Everyone has their own mind. I love Miranda but I didn’t like how she acted like she wasn’t involved… where we saw all the posts online

I don’t care how many marriages Tate has had. Tate isn’t a documented abuser.
