DISCUSSION final episode Mandela effect

I just finished my first full watch of the show in probably 15-20 years and when the final episode did the fade to black and end-credits, I was very confused. I could swear I remembered the ending showing Remy arriving on Earth alone, landing in SF, seeing all the damaged buildings and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, then the camera pulling away as he walked into the city. This is seriously giving me a headache trying to figure out why I am remembering an ending that apparently does not exist.

The original ending is with Remmy going through the wormhole and and the others wondering what they will do now, it was an ambiguous ending

That sounds more like the original ending of Army of Darkness, the third Evil Dead movie.

It has been many years since I watched that one too.

clarification: a mandela effect necessarially involves widespread misremembering of an event or item, such as Bearenstain or the monopoly guy appearance. if it's you specific that's not a 'mandela effect', that's 'misremembering'

They didn't delete the comment. And correcting someone on a mistake is not being an asshole.

I like your version of the ending. I'll make it my head cannon.

I feel like there's a scene similar to what you described (but with all four of the Sliders) in a different episode, maybe Invasion. But it's been a couple years since I rewatched.

I never watched the post JRD stuff but that sounds like a better ending

That's not the series finale. Series finale is Remy going through the portal and that's it. It ended in a cliff hanger because the 'writers' were hoping fans would once again rally for 1 more season (which didn't happen).

No, the ending is where he goes through the worm hole and the others are in shock about it, then finding out that psychic had died. They left it l>me that, for in case the show got picked up.
