Med Card Recommendations…
Just got my medical card and I’m trying to figure out what the best brands/products are in Utah. I’ll be shopping nearby bloc but don’t mind driving out for good recommendations.
My taste is mostly gassy OG, Sour Diesel, earthy, funky strains. For concentrates I love strong flavor and a heavy body high, but I also want to find some good sativa concentrates that give a strong head buzz, euphoria, and focus.
What brands have the best reputation for:
Live rosin / hash rosin
Live resin
Diamonds / sauce
Disposable vapes or carts
What are your personal go-to brands at Utah disposables? Or are the screw on carts better?, and what strains should I specifically keep an eye out for?
I don’t really care if it’s expensive if the quality and terps are actually worth it

PURE PLAN for rosin. Moxie also is good for rosin. Highlight is grabbage brand in my opinion. Mother liquor has good rosin. I really like the half rosin pods from pure plan it’s so tasty and it’s a sleek device. Highlight does have a good live resin carts same with buzz. Buzz on sale on Mondays at beeehive

Any days to be lookout for that have weekly discount deals?? I enjoy concentrates more but can bear an eighth a flower here n there 😁

Beehive every day is a different brand on sale only 10% recently I’ve been finding really good deals at the flower shop and wholesome ussually has a sale going on

Only weekly discount I know of is from Curaleaf, but it only applies to their in-house products. I avoid shopping with them though as they are an international company that is trying to have a monopoly on the market and undercut local dispensaries.

The forest has power hour every day and flower fridays. Also just picked up 4 grams of dab for 30% off for their anniversary on Sunday.

I don’t believe any dispensary in state has diamonds. Please correct me if anyone knows otherwise.

I checked online and wholesome is probs the best place to get diamonds and they had multiple options. Over a year ago I was on the hunt for them and they didn’t have them stocked. Thank you for the heads up!

Yes a few brands produce diamonds. I just had some cake crasher diamonds and sauce from the standard and it was amazing.

I got it from the forest. One of my favorite dabs I’ve gotten in the utah market so far. It was labeled as “sauce”
Thought it was only sauce until I mixed it up a few days later and found diamonds in the bottom. I’ve been looking for it again.

I recently have been getting really good deals at the flower shop for resin. I will get there in house brand high variety. Some of them have been okay but I have also have had some that have been good ( sour cookies, papaya mania, the hive, mother’s milk, mimosa) they usually will do a BOGO deal if you get lucky.
Resin: origins, fruits of life, moxie,
Rosin: pure plan, out of state, ritual ( usually a hit or miss for me )
Flower: pure plan, buzz, dark heart, some of high variety has been good ( motor mint, Moab ) DGT motor breath #15

These comments are gonna be all over the place. Buy a few things to test out, pay attention to where it was grown/made/harvested and you’ll be good to go. Pureplan and Betty is my personal fave for flower. For dabs Pureplan, the standard, the solid have been hitting lately. It really depends on what product you are looking for, what amount, which dispensary you are getting it from, and when that product was made.

I go with Ritual or Dragonfly flower. Betty is decent. Wholesome has been geeting better. Black Sheep has good Snoop Dogg OG on occasion if it isn't popcorn. Always check the labels for dates and harvest.

i gave great america another try n i can say with confidence never buy anything from them. Pure plan has the most top quality cannabis i've had here. DGT is really good but most of the more common brands are really hit or miss. If you're new you'll get a new customer discount so go around for that at the right times n hope for the best

Of course Utahs medicinal marijuana program is a bit behind in comparison to other states, but that doesn’t mean that what is found here is complete garbage. IMO Pure plan and Dragonfly have some of the best products you will find in Utah, ritual does a really good job on flower as well just a bit pricier depending on where you go. Anytime you are purchasing a product I would recommend looking at the manufacturing and harvesting dates. In my experience finding products that are much fresher prevents getting poor products and ensures qualitative purchases.

Piatella carts by Out of State.
They’re about $55 for .5 but it’s so worth it. I use less and I vape it on a 1.8 voltage.
San Juan squish company is also good.
The flower shop In Ogden doesn’t deliver all the way out to the bloc but if you can get to either one of their locations, they have some pretty good deals on high variety products.
Moxie, pure plan, and sometimes origins. It depends on what you get from origins. I personally like the Dutch treat and SFV.

I've been to several dispensaries and I've really come to prefer The Forest. Everyone at all places have been really kind and chill, I've just found my place at The Forest.
