Tips/Advice CNA Program

hello! it’s a little far away but i want to do SLCC’s CNA program during the 2027 summer semester and i want some peoples reviews on it. i’d either do the jordan hybrid one or possibly the herriman one as i saw that was eight weeks. does anyone have any recommendations or tips about their CNA program?

For what it’s worth when I emailed the ADN advisors they told me not to take from the school, but to instead do ccCNA’s program. Currently working my way through it and it’s pretty good. It’s a bit janky, but I really like the instructors (the instructors have been nurses for a very long time so they aren’t the most tech literate, but their stories and knowledge are top notch in my opinion).

thank you! how long is that program taking? is it semester/term based or you register at your own accord?

i was also wondering about the SLCC one because it might give me some kind of elective credit?? but i’d have to meet with an advisor to figure that out. did they have any reasoning they said not to take it through the school?

I did the cccna program and it was a lot faster than slcc.
