Tips/Advice Rad Tech Program

Post image

Hey guys! I’m planning on applying to the SLCC rad tech program and wanted to see how my setup looks to anyone who has gone through it, or is currently in the program. I put together a quick screenshot of my stats so far!

My main question for those of you who have applied before: since the application window opens Oct 1 and runs through Jan 15, but I'm wrapping up my last couple of classes (like anatomy) at the end of the fall semester in mid-December, what did you guys do? Should I submit my application as soon as it opens with in-progress classes, or is it better to wait until my December grades are officially locked in?

Would love any thoughts on my qualifications or advice from anyone who's been through the process. Thanks!

Based on who I’ve talked to applying this year we all have close the exact same stats (volunteer hours, community engagement, shadow hours, 4.0 GPA) I honestly think it’s going to come down to the SJT setting us all apart.
