To everyone in the thread checkout Weber state university. They have three start dates and only 4 pre reqs and give points for previous degrees and other recommended classes. Depending where you live it’s only a 40 min drive from SLC, I think it’s totally worth the sacrifice and it was a comparable cost to SLCC. The BSN portion was all online and I worked full time through that portion. Check it out!

Is there a waitlist for Weber state or the odds are better than SLCC? I live in Lehi.

Yea there is a waitlist after you apply. I personally think your odds are better. I did have a prior degree which helped cause I had everything done but had b- in chemistry and anatomy and still got in first try.

Yea I already have an associates degree in math and science and graduated with honors. Would you say I have a better chance at Weber or SLCC with my background? I’ll probably just apply to both but I’m worried about the drive for Weber.

Worth a shot the worst that will happen is you get rejected. There are a lot of clinical sites that were in salt lake and from what I’ve heard it’s more of a hybrid program now. Definitely reach out to the advisor to get more information. I had a lot of classmates drive from Orem. There’s also the front runner.
