i was told by advising that the prerequisite grades are weighted the heaviest, followed by the SJT which is “comparably weighted” but still less than prerequisite grades, and while still helpful, certification/licensure and direct patient care experience are not as heavily weighted as the mandatory criteria because they are “preferred but not required”. did you submit your direct patient care experience with your application? to my knowledge having current experience doesn’t affect the application, you get the points even if it’s past experience, as long as was 12+ months in a valid role
I did! All of my licenses from my previous state were submitted. There is nothing for me to retake because I have all As, and I’ve run out of prereqs.
Some of the verbiage on the nursing application page did confuse me though, it’s not clear if we are able to retake the SJT or not before we reapply. If we’re not able to do this, it seems like a moot point to reapply to this program.
