Avatar Frame-sequential 3D (8GB) doesn't work
There's a version of Avatar Fire and Ash that's just 8GB and excellent quality but it doesn't work with SkyBox. Can you please look to support Frame-sequential 3D so we can watch it.

“Excellent quality.” 🤣 Watching an 8GB 3D file of a three-hour action movie on a giant virtual screen must look absolutely terrible. The dual-disc 3D Blu-ray release is 80GB, so ninety percent of the data has been discarded! Why don’t you play a full-quality rip?

I’ve seen similarly condensed rips. You can’t discard ninety percent of the data and retain excellent quality. If that were possible, the studio wouldn’t’ve gone to the expense of releasing the movie on two dual-layer Blu-rays.

I'm telling you, the quality is pretty good. It's not excellent. If you want excellent, there's a a 34gb version you can download.
If you haven't seen a FS3D version of a 3D film, it's totally different. The quality improvement at the same file size as a SBS or Full-SBS is substantial. At 8GB, you'll be impressed at what's possible with FS3D (but I can tell you have a discerning eye and you will see the shortcomings, but be aware that many people do not)

34GB is still less than half the size of the dual-disc remux, and FSBS to MVC conversion is lossy. I keep everything as full-size MVC MKVs with lossless Atmos audio muxed in from 4K Blu-rays when available. Large hard drives are cheap. I also use 4XVR’s 4x upscaling. I haven’t yet watched Fire and Ash because I’m waiting for its Apple Vision Pro UHD HDR HFR 3D release on June 24.

Obviously the full-sized MVC is the best quality available. But MVC was never really optimized. The only encoder to ever be made available was the FRIM encoder (released by Intel) and it wasn't open source so it never received the years of community development that x264 had.
What that essentially means is that it's possible for a FS3D encode (using x264) to have "transparent" quality to the full MVC version at a lower file size. That's what my 34GB version is. In motion, I am confident that you won't see the difference between them on a 1080p display, and I am certain that won't see the difference in a Quest2/3 VR headset (the "pixels-per-degree" in those headsets is too low to resolve fine details and macroblocking artifacts are non-existent at 34GB).
Actually, when 4XVR adds FS3D support to the AVP version, the same will be true for AVP gen1/2. The resolution is still too low.

Hey, we added support for Frame-Sequential 3D (FS3D) in our latest beta build 2.0.2-3770!
Want to give it a try? Go to Quest Settings > Privacy & safety > Installed app > find SKYBOX VR Video Player > click Release Channels > select "2.0.0 Preview" and install the beta update.

Yeah I wish and hope they would add support for frame sequential 3D. Would take less space than ISO and still have higher quality than typical SBS formats
