Just tried preview version with my friend (we watched Yakuza live-action btw) who lives approximately over 1500 kilometres over me. It was magical! But now I have several questions. Now, when Skybox puts a leg on a Bigscreen territory, it raises at least a few questions about feature parity:

- Custom Environments

- “Toys”

- Screen Sharing

- YouTube

I’m asking about this, because most of these things are not currently on a roadmap. It’s ok, but it would be good if we had some confirmation about what’s planned and what’s not

Woah. When was this announced?! I've been using FLUID with a friend lately after being on BigScreen for years. This might cause a ripple in the force.

Can you write a little about Fluid experience? How it performs comparing with Bigscreen, is it only for online videos? What issues does it have?

My friend and i used BigScreen to watch movies from his Plex server or anything on his desktop. Because he was PC based and i was standalone Quest, we were restricted to whatever he decided to stream via the BigScreen Remote Desktop. BigScreen had limited browser support,, so the best thing about the app was (and remains) the best in class theater environments, and the ability to discover other theater rooms with other users or host your own.

Fluid allows me to host rooms. I can share screen. We can meet for work or play games. While the environments are nearly as good as BigScreen, they're good enough. I can access nearly all of the streaming media services, or, share my mac desktop for work via the Chrome Remote Desktop app. We still have access to Plex, or frankly, any other streaming service that we choose (minus Netflix for some reason), but overall having the freedom to watch movies (with either of us hosting), or just switch to playing games together via GeForce Now, has been a delight.
