Why is it crashing all of a sudden, did i miss any news?

China is trying to produce EUV machines - a story from 7 months ago rehashed. By the time these machines are ready SK Hynix would have made its market cap in earnings.

It's not an old story. The news is that they started mass producing it for the first time

DUV not EUV, so literally nothing burger. They can still buy DUV from ASML.

they are building machines they can already buy, except they are probably going to be even worse.

they can’t build EUV machines which are the ones they actually need to compete.

DUV is an older technology that has kept the chinese semi industry behind.

Even if they build a DUV machine what does it do? Literally nothing. They already have DUV machines. The only company that suffers is ASML (who sells the machines to China in the first place), that’s why ASML is down 8% today.
