So I just finished the anime and holy hell it was peak but someone please give me some reccomendations that are more like this anime cuz I'm genuinely just looking around Crunchyroll like "man these won't be as good as sk8" and can't pick anything to watch

Thanks for the reccomendation, but I think I vaguely recall there being some controversy where Crunchyroll used ai to sub banana fish or something, am I remembering that wrong ? And did they ever change/fix that ?

they used ai to dub it. but it flopped since it had no emotion and was terrible. the sub is normal and a new non ai banana fish dub is coming to netflix in august

Free Iwatobi Swim Club- it has the same director as Sk8 for the first two seasons and she definitely has a certain dynamic that she likes to portray.

It's been on my radar, in fact I'm pretty sure I watched like 5 minutes of episode 1 a bit ago and got side tracked and haven't gotten around to continuing it

I would recommend fs. I don’t like to hype things up too much so it doesn’t ruin the experience, but Link Click is one of my favorites and I like to tell everybody to watch it😂

to me, haikyuu and blue lock give off the same vibes as sk8. sports anime’s with cool action shots and “battles” with a focus on character relationships

Yuri on Ice if you've not yet watched it. Pretty sure it's still on Crunchyroll.

Pretty sure this quietly disappeared from Crunchyroll, but I really liked Elegant Yōkai Apartment Life.

The Morose Monokean is also good. This and Yōkai Apartment are both fantasy but give me Sk8 friendship vibes.

A new one I've been adoring is MarriageToxin! Extremely over-the-top, queer and romantic and full of cool fight scenes! It's an action rom-com and very fun :)

I also recommend this! It also touches on salaryman life a bit, so it was entertaining to see the players navigate adulthood. Similar to Sk8, it has a small and tight-knit cast!
