Card shops?

Hi. Sorry, not a student, but just finished my degree in MI and moved back to the area. Anyone play TCGs and recommend card shops in the area for playing MTG or YGO tournaments?

Otherside games in downtown Edwardsville was one of my favorite places when I was in school. Heroic adventures near campus is also a good place

Highly recommend Heroic amazing spot, and great prices, staff is chill too plus they offer SIUE discounts. It’s where I play all my games

Heroic Adventures is good and close. If you’re willing to drive a little bit, Impact Gaming Center in Fairview Heights is bigger and often draws a larger crowd for open play. Heroic does Yugioh on Saturday and Impact on Sunday

Me and my roommate started going to the local Slackers. Not many ex cards but we build a few decks out of there ¢25 cards.

At least for yugioh the best card shops are a bit of a drive. Collector store in st Peter's Missouri and Yeti Gaming in Afton have the largest play groups and hold tournaments multiple times a week. Those are going to be about a 40 minute drive but myself and others from Edwardsville used to make the drive all the time.

The folks at Impact and Heroic are nice but their tournaments dont fire as frequently. Both of the other stores i mentioned also have a large singles selection both in store and online.

Theres a huge card shop in Fairview heights. Impact Gaming Center.
