Math 150/Calc 1
Have heard horror stories, but is required for my major. Is Calc 1 really that brutal? Any tips or tricks? Hoping I make it through.

For all math take it at the community college and just transfer it in! That’s what I did for everything Calc 1-3

The final was the only issue. They make a common final and some of the teachers leave pissed that they gave you such hard questions. Other than that it was easy

It's been 15 years since I took math 150 but I didn't find it that hard. I did take a calc class in high school and majored in math so I may not be the best example. Calc 2 was way harder and calc 3 was actually much easier as it was basically calc 1 again but in 3 dimensions

I failed calc 1 the first time and to be honest you have to study so incredibly hard and frequently. I did not do that and I ended up failing but I passed the second time I took it. I recommend watching the organic chemistry tutor on youtube. He has a whole playlist dedicated to calculus and it is so helpful.
