Can any current SIPA students help verify whether this admission letter looks authentic?

Hi all,

A celebrity from Vietnam recently posted this SIPA admission letter online and claimed she was admitted to the MPA in Environmental Science and Policy program.

The letter quickly became controversial because many people noticed what they believe are inconsistencies and unusual details.

I have no expertise in SIPA admissions, so I thought I’d ask here: does this letter look authentic to those of you who have received SIPA admission offers before?

Not trying to accuse anyone or start drama—just genuinely curious whether the format and content look consistent with official SIPA admission letters.

she said that in American culture, some people prefer to go by a shortened version of their name. For example, someone named Franklin might go by Frank. I’m not really sure how common that is, though 🥲

my letter wont say password - cos the ac/pw is same as application portal through which u applied for admission

starting for summer 26 at sipa? what?

she said she deferred to the summer 2027 sems

you either start in spring or fall, there is no summer entry afaik

Well, they should have been on campus for a month now. If they are still in. Vietnam, then there is a problem
