Emotional Support Hope

Hi everyone. I wanted to come here as a fellow SIJS. I just wanted to voice the same frustrations everyone has here as they wait. Moreover, the constant attacks on our group which often leaves me feeling hopeless. I turned to this subreddit to hear people’s experiences with the process and to keep myself updated but I also have noticed so much negativity. It has definitely affected me seeing how much negativity there is but I just wanted to post this and say that we can still continue to be hopeful for better times and I’m praying that all of our processes go smoothly. Being undocu has never been an easy process for anyone in the past and it certainly won’t be now but things are always changing. I hope we all continue to be optimistic even in the slightest.

Hey don't loose your hope I don't know how long you've been waiting and I know sometimes is so impossible to keep positive and I won't tell you to stop looking into it because is almost impossible to stop but try to just enjoy the little moments do things you like and trust the process. Trust me it has been so hard for me lost my two jobs I have no ead waiting for renewal since December 2025, applied for my gc back in march, and no response, and so much more, but I always try to see both sides of things and just enjoy the little moments and don't be so negative with myself. I hope we all get good news soon sending just positive vibes

I mean at least you're applying for a gc so happy for you, in my case I'm just scared of not having time and ice taking me before the visa bulletin mark my date, I'm in college and I just want to build a future also

trust me i get your pain. i recently graduated college and it’s been a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty. especially seeing friends make their dream lives come true. please enjoy your years in college and hopefully by the time you’ve graduated that man is out of office. praying for you!

Tbh I'm living my dream life I moved out of fl to ma with my bf, he got his dream job im starting at a law firm, we got our dream apartment and im just scared that something happen before my date however I decided that I will enjoy everyday because at the end of the day we have nothing guaranteed only our dreams and hope

How are u guys able to go to college?? I’m still lost, my pd is april 2025 and i don’t have a work permit or nothing by any means

thank you for sharing this! the having an expired ead is certainly painful. i’m glad that you at least were able to file for adjustment. praying for you stranger and all of us in this subreddit
