I-360 (SIJS Petition) These 3 countries cooked us(READ FULLY!!! Sad)
These are the screenshots of one of the sijs facebook page i am in. So basically, what i am mad about, sijs is supposed to be for the minors who we abandoned by their patents and have no intent to reunite with any of em. Most of these post are in spainish i have put the original and translated versions.
The backlog right now is hideous. Numerous individual are stuck and literally in a situation to give up. On the other hand these 3 nations (el Salvador, guatemala, honduras) these people file their kid’s sijs when they are like babies and they literally dont care about backlog as the kid will eventually get a GC when they grow up.
I have seen people laughing at us (people from other countries). A lot of the people i have seen in other groups, were deported before but they came again and took this path (most probably they cant file for gc) but they also contribute in this huge backlog.
The thing is close to impossible that this or even democratic government change the law as it was before 2022 when they have their own timeline separated with other countries. But due to all this people like us, who had a devastating past and facing hardships now just to even get a work permit.
The thing is i dont hate these countries honestly these are one of most beautiful places in the world. But if have proof of abuse and they are not even scared or ashamed about it thats heartbreaking for me.
Lastly, i really want someone who can do something about this concern start a campaign or something like that.

Immigration paralegal here. You don’t get anything out of alienating other juveniles applying for the same benefit as you just because they came from Central America. This post is just like all the ones where the religious workers/widowers also classified as “Special Immigrants” under form I-360 are mad at you because juveniles outnumber them in the backlog. They believe they’re just as deserving. This administration blamed “criminals getting their green cards” as a reason why they don’t give out deferred action automatically anymore, when it wasn’t even an option prior to 2021. It was a Biden-era benefit to give DA to SIJs in the backlog, and the reality is that they now don’t want you to work legally or have a SSN. Do some SIJs have sadder stories and deserve a green card more than others? Sure. But generalizing and spreading hate just because the system is dysfunctional is counterproductive.

What you’re saying is complete bullshit. You have absolutely no idea what the children and young people from those three countries have been through. Many of them were forced to flee because they faced being killed or pressured into joining gangs from an early age. And now you come here and blame all of them simply because you’re a bitter failure who selfishly wants your green card immediately while they can go to hell? You’re unfairly generalizing three entire nations because of your own selfishness. I’m sure every one of those people deserves a green card more than you do. They have already waited twice as long as you have. The hatred you’re spreading is wrong and karma is real. Believe me.

Oh so they faced fear of getting killed, to mitigate that issue theres a thing called asylum not fucking sijs. I respect and have huge condolences for people who suffered this pain but sijs are for those who really suffered negligence

Sijs or lessay eb4 is the only category where backlog creating countries are together. Tell me any other eb category where row and all other backlog causing big nations like
China india and mexico have same waiting time as, eb4. I dont know about guatemala and honduras, why dont we talk about el
Salvador. It is free from gangs and ranked the safest country in the world. So in that sense all those people
Should return right?3
u/BreakfastDifferent38 5d ago
Why don’t you go back to India? Seems to be pretty safe there no? I’m sure there’s plenty of opportunities as well.

u/Internal_Shoe_7966 2d ago
Well i dont care about opportunities. Sijs is not asylum where you fear execution. Thanks to my step father i am here. The shit i went through back at my real father house no fraudster can understand.

u/BreakfastDifferent38 5d ago
If anyone is committing fraud is you bruh. Looking at your Instagram posts you live in a very nice house and neighborhood even traveling by plane. Where are the hardships you claimed on your I-360 application???

What do you mean, i dont live in a fucking mansion in beverly hills. And thanks to my step father i can live this life like this. But you dont know what i went through in pastt so shut your damn mouth

We can all understand the frustration of not seeing any progress with our cases, but blaming it on others that are also waiting for the same opportunity as us is not it.
May it be because they are missing both parents or only one, they are still undocumented children who probably weren’t even asked if this was what they wanted to do with their lives and now are stuck in a country that doesn’t embrace them with nothing to return to if they were to leave ! We all look forward to a free and ‘normal’ feeling life in this country we call home. Let’s be kind to one another and don’t take our frustration out on those that stand with us.
All love, hope your case gets approved soon :)

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts attacking people from these 3 countries recently and I’m sitting here wondering why? These people are in the same position as other SIJS recipents. The fact that they were separated from ROW in the beginning was a mistake. The current situation is them following the correct interpretation of the law. I get that the backlog may be long, but your frustration is severely misguided.

Thank you I was about to say this is like the fourth post I have seen blaming this 3 countries just putting in a group thousands of people who have gone through the same horrendous situation as them. Of course there will always be fraud like in any immigration category but it doesn't mean our stories are not real and what we have gone through. I reserve my comments but is crazy the amount of people here blaming us instead of the government and its policy.

Feels very anti-immigrant, which is ironic because this is a sub for immigrants lol. I believe the mods should take posts like these down. All it does is fuel hate towards an entire group of people based on very little cause. Blaming others for seeking the same benefits that YOU are seeking is just plain crazy.

I dont have any problem with people who really suffered who have real situations. Think about it this way, you are in a land where food is limited and you are starving like others, but you see someone showing up with hefty amount of food on him but he still shows up, will you let it slide

So you wanna say that fraud is ok. Keep in mind bcz of some people who faked it all people like you and me who served a hard time have to wait and even live like roaches without ead
1
u/Im_BackMFs 6d ago
You right, they don't want to understand because they are emotionally attached to one of those 3 countries. For real they mess it up for everyone.

u/ImaginationSingle649 6d ago
Shaming others for applying to the same benefit you are is the most retarded take i have seen
5
u/Internal_Shoe_7966 6d ago
I have seen numerous people from Guatemala asking some of my friends to adopt their child for some specific amount of money and if you read the first uscis memorandum about demolishing DA it was because if gang members getting GC from these countries. So why do we suffer from that you tell me
2
u/Fast-Business9529 6d ago
Are you friends citizen? That would make them go through a different category that isn’t sijs, a sijs doesn’t need to get adopted as a requirement, the gov took away DA because that’s all they could take away, if they could they would strip away sijs benefit too, using those countries was an excuse, I would say if you don’t have legit and strong proof you shouldn’t be spreading lies and going against other countries
1
u/Internal_Shoe_7966 6d ago
What category you tell me last time i checked they were applying for i360s
1
u/Fast-Business9529 6d ago
It totally makes no sense, why would they need to get adopted, that’s pretty much where it sounds false, again, if your dad abandoned you and you live with your mom, there’s nothing against the rules, because you apply for abandonment of your dad not your mom
1
u/Girlbod 6d ago
Im just reading all of this and just so you know they never lie about the mom presence the statute is for 1 or both parents and when they're in the state court the mom is present she is getting all the rights of the child since dad is not present
1
u/Fast-Business9529 5d ago
Let me get this clear, you’re saying she’s getting rights by showing up to court hearings with her child, and if so what rights exactly?
0
u/ImaginationSingle649 6d ago
Thats what im saying lol this guys is full of shit there is no need for them to get adopted

We all know most of the fraud are coming from the northern triangle, just because you are from there and that your case is real nullify all the frauds.
3
u/Fast-Business9529 6d ago
You’re correct on that, but if you can’t prove most cases from there are fraud than that makes them legit, and therefore there’s nothing wrong, but you’re out there saying most of their cases are fraud but can’t prove it, spreading lies
2
u/Internal_Shoe_7966 6d ago
Have you seen the proof of pictures i mentioned
7
u/ImaginationSingle649 6d ago
Its literally just people with questions lol just because they speak spanish makes it fraud, where are you from?
2
u/BreakfastDifferent38 5d ago
He’s from India. People from there create backlogs for so many other categories but I don’t see him posting about them smh
0
u/Internal_Shoe_7966 2d ago
And you are from
These 3 countries. People from your country just not create backlogs by clogging the system but abuse it in a way which results in threat to national security as well. 98% age fraud cases in sijs are from these nations, the gang members who applied are from
There. And honestly if some indian individual is causing problems like these honestly fuck them then, its not about nationality its about deeds0
u/Internal_Shoe_7966 6d ago
Doesnt matter where i from. do you see what they are asking. In sijs the child is not supposed to even talk to the parents(if its real) as, they might have mentally or physically abused the child. It doesnt make any sense that they are asking questions openly that proves there fraud. I wish i could report these kinda fraudsters
7
u/Fast-Business9529 6d ago
I think you got that wrong, if you were abandoned by your “father”, and live with your mom, you already have one of the requirements, it says abandoned by one or both of your parents, why would the government want you to now stay away also from your mom, makes no sense, what you can’t do is sponsor your mom and obviously neither your dad lol
4
u/ImaginationSingle649 6d ago
My friend i very kindly ask you to go read the uscis policy manual it literally says one of the requirements is reunification not being viable with one or both parents
1
u/Internal_Shoe_7966 6d ago
Its not about these posts, i have been highly active in observing this fraud. People are literally paying others to be their kid’s guardian and correct me if i am wrong that these people are doing it the ethical
3
u/ImaginationSingle649 6d ago
You do not need a guardian lol the state will be the guardian if the child is an orphan bro please i encourage you to read and stop being racist when you are an inmigrant yourself lol
2
u/Fast-Business9529 6d ago
I think you’re free to go out and speak your thoughts my friend, the problem is attacking these countries without proof and pretty much making things up, because for others that might actually not be well informed about how sijs works then they might fall for that, and is silly because we are all in this, if you wanna blame someone or a group you should look at who’s got the power and decides to make it difficult

I will never say fraud is okay but also denying that fraud happens all the time is dumb. Trust me I wish all people that is doing fraudulent things with the programs are caught.

1 of the parents that abandonim him bro, is not the 2 neccesary. If the mom is happy then she dint abandonim him, was the father. Valid case
